If I could give less than one star I would. I live in Heber, Utah and was completely bamboozled by Marco. We hired him as our contractor and then 4 days in to the project he left me high and dry to find my own plumber, my own electrician and then refused to come back to finish the work. If I had a dollar for every time he told me "It's not my fault," it could have paid for my basement remodel. We built a custom home and have done many home projects with numerous contractors. I have never had a contractor treat me the way I was treated by Marco. Because of the shoddy work he did, my plumber had to return to move the toilet (Marco built the wall to close to the plumbing), and the tile guys had to do another 1/2 day of work because he framed for the bathtub incorrectly. Truly, keep looking for a contractor...he is as shady as they come. Huge mistake using him.
If you do use him- make sure that every minute detail is in writing. (Ie: if he removes baseboard, he will put it back- if he installs a door, he will return the casing to it...etc.) and do not pay him until everything is complete...no matter what he says.
Good luck!
