Truly unbelievable. If they run their business like they drive DO NOT use their services. Driver was in the fast lane going under the speed limit. Went to pass him in the right line and then move over to fast lane and he sped up and would not let me in. Even going onto the shoulder and pinning me between him and a semi…if they work like they drive, they are reckless.

This company has great material and service.Customer service and satisfaction are a priority.Thier drivers are some of the most professional and courteous and willing to get it where you need.Getting on a schedule is the best way to get it delivered when you need it.The topsoil is screened thru a trumble removing anything over 1" including most clay.The have costumers from the Wasatch front that up to get it. I would recommend the to anyone.

We have good and bad experiences with Witt Excavating Inc. We have been putting our yard in this Spring and the gravel was delivered quickly. Then we had to wait a few days for the first load of top soil and it was ok. Our 2nd load of top soil took a week to be delivered and it was very hard to work with. It had a very clay like texture and a lot of rocks. I would not order from them again.

***UPDATE: After I left my first review they contacted us less than 24 hours later asking how they could compensate us for our bad experience. They compensated us 50% and I feel they were very professional in trying to help us have a more satisfactory experience and I changed my star rating from 1 to 3.

I ordered a load of top soil for my garden about a week ago and within 3 hours I had a load of top quality screened top soil in my driveway. I wanted it over to one side because I didn’t know when I would get it all moved because my husband works and that lady truck driver got it backed in right where I wanted it in a tight driveway and in five minutes she was gone! Payment was super easy as well.

I've worked with Witt excavating multiple times over the last decade. They've always responded quickly to my calls, delivered when they said they would and have been fantastic to work with. They've helped make sure I order proper amounts and not gotten too much. They clarify which type of gravel I want when I order as well, ask what it will be used for and such and give recommendations. Which was greatly appreciated on this last order since i just called in for gravel in general. I didn't even think about different sizes of rock coming into play. They really are fantastic to work with and I will use them again if needed.

From prompt responses to accommodating special requests and even fitting us in last minute for deliveries they have been great every step of the way. We have been catching up on a lot of deferred maintenance on our resort property in Midway. We had Witt excavating deliver 1 1/2” gravel and pick up a truck load of mulch from a local garden supply store and they were very reasonably priced, on time, professional, the driver was very courteous, they sent a receipt as soon as our card was charged, and we could not be happier! We will for sure use them again.
