I live on county road 4 here in winston county. The bridge on our road was closed back in May of 2021. We where told the bridge would not be closed long and that it should be a relatively quick fix. Now 8 months later and the bridge is still closed. I called today and was told it would be several more months before the work was complete. Stating the wet weather and high water levels are slowing the work up but then states they where waiting on material. Which is it high water or no material. Should have started back in May or even July and August when its dry but no you haven't done anything. Maybe if you had to drive around the world to get somewhere you would be a little quicker on the job. Ive live here myself for fifty years and have never called to complain about the road conditions on county road 4 which are pathetic but this type of service is ridiculous even after raising gas taxes for roads. Yeah your doing a real good job with that.

I live on county road 4 and the road dept refuses to drive down and look at our road they just keep telling us they are putting work orders in and they never fix the holes. The last time they ATTEMPTED to fix the potholes they threw gravel in the holes and that was it. The holes have kept growing and now some reach from one side of the road to the other. Now I know there are policies and rules they have to go by but this dept is doing nothing to fix any roads.

Please fix county Rd 4005 in Arley ... Our vehicles cant take much more plus we all almost hit one another because the road is so small and that bama tax eats up my check so I know this county has the money to fix our roads
