In January I hired Wilding Engineering to provide a geo-tech report for my condominium development in Wasatch County, wow what a great decision that was! Shun Li was assigned to my project, he provided timely communication, completed the work on schedule and did not charge more than the contracted fee. I would recommend using Wilding Engineering.

As a landscape contractor I have run into several situations throughout the past several years where engineering has been required on a project. For years I have struggled, since I didn't have a good contact to help me out with these things. Those days are long over, because I have found a GREAT engineering firm - super personable, reliable, very communicative and turnarounds for documents are very, very quick. I have worked almost exclusively with Shun Li and he's been an incredibly reliable resource to us, he walked us through the results of our most recent soils test and offered feedback on the pros/cons of certain materials to be used for the retaining application. I could not recommend Shun and Wilding Engineering more, if you need any sort of soils test or engineering done for your projects, large or small, save yourself the trouble and call these guys!!

My review relates not to their work as engineers, but to their taking care of my truck after one of their drivers hit me.

The driver was quite aggressive. After a firetruck came down the road, and we all had to pull over, their driver forced his way back into traffic, rather than waiting his turn. I honked and honked, and slammed on my breaks, but the driver was just certain he could squeeze in, and so he kept going. After we stopped, he affirmed that he heard me honking, but that he thought I was overreacting and that he didn't realize he was actually going to sideswipe me.

In any event, as frustrating as that experience was, the office itself took good care of me after the fact. I took my car to a shop, got it fixed, and they covered the bill without any trouble.

We went the route of fixing it outside of insurance, since it was a small dent, and would not reach the level of their deductible. The day it was ready to be picked up from the shop was a holiday and yet Russell still took time out of his day to call the repair shop and get them paid so I could pickup my auto.

Thus, my review. It was annoying being hit by their aggressive driver, but I appreciated the office staff having the integrity to get me taken care of quickly.

We had a boundary dispute with our neighbor and used their service to confirm our neighbor's surveyor's work. Wilding Engineering was quickly able to prove that the neighbor's surveyor made an error and it was favoring them by several feet. The owner Greg even talked to the other surveyor (the other surveyor eventually realized the error) and we were so glad we used their service. They were extremely courteous and professional. The price was very reasonable, as well. We highly recommend them!

Particularly Mike and Daniel are quite excellent at their jobs and have jumped every issue we have had. We just finished an exceptionally difficult site plan for a lot below the Draper temple on a very steep hillside build.
