I recently bought a Stanley Martin home at Westside at Shady Grove and the Stanley Martin team is phenomenal! It was a true pleasure working with the sales team of Moneh and Karen. It was a bit challenging to purchase a home virtually, and moving from another state, but the SM answered every question and provided biweekly construction updates along the way which helped a great deal. A special thank you to the awesome construction team Andre and Tim – who really do a fantastic job and make sure the quality of craftsmanship is high caliber. Even after 2 months, they respond to questions and make sure everything is functional and working well in our home. I would highly recommend Stanley Martin as their homes are spacious, modern, and warm and their customer service is fantastic. The community here is family and pet friendly; a bonus is being walking distance to the metro.

Loved my experience with Stanley Martin. Tim was the construction manager who helped me through the process. Tim was communicative and extremely responsive. He's addressed every issue, big or small, with speed and friendliness. Even almost 3 months after I've moved in, Tim doesn't hesitate to respond to my texts.

Buying my home was a wonderful experience with The Stanly Martin Home Staff at Shady Grove. Although there was a seven month delay in my build due to Covid and supply shortage, the Stanly Martin Team continued to give me updates and they managed my expectations. After moving in to my beautiful Condo I had some issues that came up, Tim and Andre were exceptional in getting the issue fixed. Wonderful team during and after the process!!! Would work with them again to buy another home.

Overall had a great experience with Stanley Martin given the challenges of the last couple years. Starting with the sales experience, Moneh and Karen were amazing. We sent them 50+ emails asking questions over the course of the process and they always responded. Given the pandemic, they were always available to do a zoom chat should we need to have a more in depth conversation. Once the model was open, Moneh and Karen helped us with measurements and visits since our house hadn't started being built but we wanted to get some things ordered due to the supply chain issues.

The build wasn't the easiest. Our delivery date was postponed over 6 months due to supply chain issues. Kevin our initial construction manager did a pretty good job keeping us in the loop when we asked for updates. Stanley Martin did a good job addressing the concerns our inspector brought up with the build.

Post move in, Patrick has been very helpful with all the warranty/follow up work that needed to be done. Due to the build conditions, there were a few issues including things like a broken bath exhaust, massively squeaky stairs, HVAC coolant issue, etc that he's been great with coordinating the contractors to come in and fix.
