IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ: What makes a good real estate agent to you? Is it someone who is patient, listens to a customer's questions and concerns, provides intelligent answers, has good manners, and basically cares? Most importantly, do you want an agent who you can TRUST?

So, can you TRUST this agency?

I called this agency to ask a few questions about areas in Alabama, to see if they knew of any area that offered what I am looking for, and instead of being given a polite answer, I was told that she could not help me or recommend any areas to me. (Keep in mind that I was not asking her to rate areas. I was just asking her if she could recommend any areas that have what I am looking for.)

When I calmly and politely asked why she was refusing to help, she did not answer but instead hung up on me. I called back and explained what happened to someone, who told me to hold. The original lady came back and said that she could not help me and when I politely asked if she could explain why, she hung up again.

At no point was I rude to her in any way, and I was not taking up her time with excessive questions. We were on the phone for less than a few minutes. Yet she continued to reply with extremely poor manners and when I calmly and politely asked why, she would not provide an explanation for her abrupt refusal to provide assistance.

So I ask, is this how you would like to be treated by a realtor? Would you like to politely ask a few questions and be hung up on multiple times? Would you like to be polite on your end but be treated with immature, rude, uncaring responses? Do you want toxic, immature people in your life? If so, have you found the realtor for you? If you want someone patient and caring though, with maturity, class and a great attitude, look somewhere else.

So the question is, what type of realtor can you trust, and could you trust an agency that behaves with such immaturity? If bad manners are a sign of immaturity, and immaturity is a sign of poor character, and poor character makes an untrustworthy person, is this the agency you would trust?

There is simply no excuse for such poor behavior towards a customer, and anyone who tries to find an excuse or ignore such behavior is not maturely willing to face facts or own the poor behavior. They are only being further immature by ignoring it and not owning it. The only appropriate response for this is a mature owning of the behavior and an apology from the agent and a character building reprimanding of the employee who clearly needs to grow as an agent and a person. Watch to see how they respond to this post (or don't) and you will know for sure their character as an agency.

And most importantly, you will know... are they an agency you can TRUST?

We drove out from Atlanta to view a property we saw online. Ron was available when we called, actually met us at the property within 10 minutes of us calling. We viewed the property, made an offer and signed the contract within about an hour of our initial phone call. Each time we reached out to Ron, he was available.
