If it is I regret coming here thought it would be great but have nothing but problems multiple letters on my door of lies the neighbor tell on you have videos and pictures of neighbor at my door and window following me to the trash I came from somewhere I lived for 9 years to come here and be threatened to be put out because management don’t look into things they self they listen to the neighbors lies because they are friends
People are racist management is unprofessional spoke with a different neighbor and she told me a story of management making a comment of an Oreo cookie when speaking of being in the middle of two African American people
NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD TO DEAL WITH ANY OF THIS

Do not rent at Jacobs Hill Senior Apartments in Cortlandt Manor. The keypad to enter building # 4 has been malfunctioning for almost a year and complaints fall on deaf ears. Seniors and visitors can sometimes gain immediate access and at other times it may take 10 or 15 minutes. Not to mention that the key pad is not accessible for seniors in wheelchairs. For responding family members or emergency personnel to be delayed entry into the building may very well be a life and death issue. I shouldn't have to call my elderly mother to come downstairs to let me into the building. Unacceptable.

In response to your request that I should contact you, I have called the contact number that you provided several times and have never been able to speak directly to anyone. I have left messages with my name and number as well as a description of the issue and I have not heard back.

DO NOT RENT HERE! Moved in to Bridgewater Apartments in June 2018 so we could renovate our house. Should have went with my gut initially!

An existing tenant moved under us 2 months after we moved in. He would blast his music at all hours of the night and slam his doors to the point where all my picture frames would fall off the walls. After making two complaints to the inadequate management staff, it's still persisted. After the third complaint to management we were met with attitude and a lack of compassion. Finally the music stopped but what came after will blow your mind.

After I complained and the tenant found out that it was us, my husband's truck was broken into and robbed of all personal belongings and money. After that happened all of a sudden our mail stop being delivered. After calling the post office we found out that somebody broke into our mailbox and wrote a profane statement to the postman and because of this we no longer received our mail. We complained again to the front office we were met again with "what do you want me to do"? They made us feel as if we were a bother. Not kind nor compassionate.

Here's the fun part. After all the music complaints and what not the tenant below knocked on our door and screamed open the door you "effing B". He proceeded to yell at me and tell me that he was slamming the doors because he was sick and tired of hearing us walking in our apartment. After this we feared for our safety. Yet again bringing it up to the front staff proved useless!

This place has very unpleasant people that live there. They say that they no longer accept section 8 but low income housing is still there as well as a specific breed of individual. There are better places in the area and I highly recommend that you not succumb to the lower price because you will get what you pay for. Nothing ever came of anything. We had to file an inspection complaint with the post office. But the front office manager wanted no part in helping us resolve any issues. When we tried renting to other places, they wouldn't even accept our application because they don't accept people from Bridgewater. This place has a horrible name in the area.

Run as fast as you can because this place is absolutely disgraceful! We are highly educated, professional people and we assumed that we were going to live around the same type of people. And yes there are good people sprinkled throughout but the majority don't work and are criminals. After doing a background check of our own on someone we realized we were living in a very scary apartment building surrounded by violent offenders. You are paying cheaper rent for a reason! I hope this review will help some of you make the right decision. Robin needs to be let go. I'm a manager myself and I highly recommend you find someone who is professional and compassionate. She certainly is not equipped for this job. After a tenant was robbed and then harassed by another tenant I think at that point she should have stepped in and she did nothing. I had to put an order of protection on the gentleman below us who caused us such problems. When someone breaks into your mailbox I think at that point something should have happened. Horrible place run as fast as you can. I also saw a Robin yell at the poor young pool lifeguard for something so mundane that I almost said something to her.

I have been living in my Chappaqua Crossing Apartment for 2 years now and I have been very pleased with the maintenance (Arben is a great superintendent) of the building. The office management is very courteous, professional, and responsive to requests that are made. The building itself is always clean. Neighbors are nice and considerate. Overall a pleasant place to reside. 🙂

I'm a happy retiree! I moved from western NY to Stonecrest over12 years ago to be closer to family. I love my apartment, and enjoyed being able to rent the clubhouse in Feb. 2020 for a celebration of my sister's 90th birthday. I have made good friends here and with our varied backgrounds and careers we've shared lots of good times and conversations. Our complex is skillfully managed by Melissa. Facilities superintendent, George keeps everything running smoothly. If there are any questions, they are answered quickly. I also like the management's robo call system to keep us all informed of issues like inclement weather alerts, snow removal, parking, and when the clubhouse is reserved. My 1 bedroom apartment is just right for me and I look forward to many more years enjoying life here.

My family and I have lived in Chappaqua Crossing since October 2019 and couldn't be happier. For location, it is nice being close to Whole Foods for any last-minute things we may need for the kids. There are lots of areas to take a nice walk and benches to sit on. We have a responsive staff who is always willing to help with any questions and concerns. We also feel safe in our building because of the precautions taken and notices throughout reminding people to wear masks. It's nice with everything going on in the world to feel secure at home.

I have lived at Stonegate for almost 10 yrs. and love it. Ann, Melanie and Christine are so helpful and always listen to your concerns. If there is a maintenance problem, James comes right away and attends to it. The grounds are kept immaculate and the landscaping is done regularly. Everyone is very professional and friendly and they go out of their way to help you. Even after hours, if there is a problem, someone is there to help you and take care of the situation. The units are well maintained. There is plenty of space and a lot of lighting. I am so glad that I moved here .

We lived at Heritage Point in Staatsburg, NY in Dutchess County. We had to move from NYC because of the high rents. HP was the only place that had vacancies. We found out shortly after moving in, why this was so. Besides being close to nothing practical such as grocery stores, it was and still is to this day, ill kept in that it's trash rooms are overflowing, the halls have not air conditioning or heat or windows and are in need of cleaning. It has a very sterile and institutional look. The tenants seem to be displaced individuals with psychiatric problems, for the most part. We had a drug addict on our floor who mooched from tenants and our guests. There was and still is a woman who lives on the first floor who breaks the one computer in the community room, all the time and thinks nothing of sitting on the floor in the hallways. The janitor has a family of many people who go in and out and are disrecpectful of the tenants. The manager is there one day per week and will never get out of her chair to inspect the cleanliness of the building. It is a disgrace not to mention the financial scams they will pull when there is promised "one month free rent". And, don't forget to be on top of getting your security back should you want to leave. A lot goes on there that any normal person should not have to put up with. We were lucky to get out of there 7 months after we got there. The first two weeks made our decision to look for another place. It is one of Wilder Balter's lowest tier places and they could care less as long as they get their rent. Quality be damned. Lot's of luck should you dare to enter it's ring of trash.
