My experience with Vimvi was unfortunately disappointing, as they represented the seller of a property I purchased. Despite recognizing the potential challenges in their client's situation, Vimvi's lack of communication and cooperation exacerbated the process for my agent and me. We frequently found ourselves in the dark regarding the status of the sale, with numerous calls and emails left unanswered.

As we got closer to closing escrow, there was a severe lack of due diligence on their part. The city required an inspection and a certificate to be issued to close, which they failed to secure in a timely manner, causing delays. They also failed to take initiative in dealing with the trash and personal property left by the seller until the very last minute after closing, despite having more than enough time and being in the business of probate where dealing with personal property is nothing new. Even after we finally closed escrow, they continued to cause issues. They withheld the keys to the property after the sale was recorded, and failed to settle the outstanding water bill beforehand, preventing me from getting service in my name.

Although I am not an expert in probate, I was also surprised by their exceptionally inefficient and questionable handling of the seller's probate case. Despite the listing agent practicing law and having a probate attorney lead the case, contracts were breached, probate procedures were not followed, and false statements were made in court documents.

Overall, my experience with Vimvi has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would advise both buyers and sellers to carefully consider whether to do business with them.
