Nelson and his team did an outstanding job landscaping our Capitol Hill backyard. It was not an easy job because my wife and I gave him only a vague sense of what we wanted. He worked with us to make sure that the yard was beautiful. His sense of design and knowledge was very helpful in enabling us to turn our unformed ideas into what we wanted. The job was also difficult because our backyard backs up to an elementary school playground. Nelson was very patient about working around the school's schedule. For anyone looking for quality landscaping, I would highly recommend Nelson Villatoro and his team.

Villatoro & Sons did a fantastic job on our landscaping renovation. I can't recommend Villatoro & Sons enough - we have had the best experience with Nelson and his team at two homes. They are extremely professional, considerate and thoughtful in their approach.

This isn't your average "grass-cutting" service; it's so much more than that. The owner is extremely professional and pricing is fair and on trend with area. Villatoro & Sons is very much worth the investment for top-notch quality for anything from a simple weekly lawn cut to a full landscaping project.
Recommendations for a healthy lawn and a beautiful landscape were targeted and on par with my vision. Even the products that were selected were sourced from a local nursery with a reputation for carrying quality products. The owner communicated with me about my project through the entire process and the finished product was amazing. My subsequent regular lawn maintenance was also always handled with great care. My husband saw the Villatoro truck at Home Depot about 8 years ago and asked the owner, Nelson, if he would cut our lawn. Definitely, we were at the right place at the right time because the first time became a second, then a third, etc. Boy, did we luck out. Recently, we had our house completely remodeled and the lawn suffered from the construction. The ground was nothing but clay. Nelson layed sod and plants and transformed the area fit for Better Homes and Garden. He impressed us with the original service, but this last job was a piece of art. He follows through, also, on the maintenance. I highly recommend Villatoro & Sons Landscaping to anyone who wants the neighbors talking. You won't be dissapointed.
