From the outset, her aesthetic vision and design instincts were perfectly aligned with ours. She listened to our wants and needs and translated them into an architectural gem. The interplay of natural light and air flowing through each space creates an open, inviting atmosphere where function is balanced by understated elegance. My husband and I worked with Venn Studio on two residential restoration projects in the West Adams neighborhood; one Spanish Bungalow and one Historic Craftsman. In the past we had only done smaller remodel projects so these two restorations were a bigger undertaking. When I bought my home everything was original 1960’s, very old and dated. The kitchen was so cramped with hardly any counter and storage space. Gabbi Sun walked my property and gave me her vision of possibilities. I immediately liked her ideas to redesign an open layout, increase the bathroom sizes and modernize all the finishes.
