We moved to Winchester, VA this past summer and we engaged Valley Construction and Property Services, LLC (hereinafter referred to as Valley Construction) for a wide variety of contracts to update and renovate our new home. This included painting the entire interior space (a large contract), garage and some exterior painting needs; chimney repair; window well concrete repair; bathroom renovations; a complex book shelve installation that required significant wood and carpentry trim skills; and, lastly, a laundry-pantry room addition.

It should be noted that the owners of Valley Construction (Juan Carlos and Rodrigo Mendoza) were recommended by my daughter and they did an outstanding job on all of the projects that we contracted with them, etc. As importantly, the project teams and personnel they managed per project were wonderful to work with, polite and very conscientious while being in our home. We were very impressed with the quality and responsiveness to our needs as customers and we highly recommend Valley Construction as a leading renovation contractor in Frederick County, VA.

Valley Construction was one of four local construction companies we got estimates from to rebuild our large deck. Their bid was the lowest, they were able to do the work much sooner than the other companies, and they were willing to do the job in a way that allowed us to reuse the railings, making it somewhat less streamline for them. Other companies tried to talk us out of that, but we were interested in the savings and the continuity with the rest of the home. Additionally they were really on it. They emailed regularly, and were friendly and easy to work with. they worked very hard with multiple workers so that they were done in about four long days of actual labor but because of weather and ordering delays it took about two weeks, still well ahead of when we were told others could start. And the job looks great because of their careful calculations. We will definitely look to them in the future for our home improvement projects. We decided to use Trex, not because they pressured us but the price difference they calculated was not so different and it made sense to upgrade.

They’ve met and exceeded all expectations. Very easy to communicate with, accurate timelines, estimates, equally skilled and creative.
