Had to deal with one of your road crews around Hemphill, Tx.
A truck with lights on set in the middle of the road today.. did say there was a convoy but that was all it said.
The truck just set there and did nothing.
I decided that I must have to go around it since there was no signs, people or anything saying what to do.
About the time I decided I needed to do something or set there till it got dark.
When I moved a little the driver bailed out of his truck like he was on fire and very rudely yelled something that I could not hear.
Again, no stop signs or anything.
That guy should not be representing the state of Texas !!

Good job but hope they build emergency line beside exits stop signs so drivers can park, I mean nothing is 100% even in Truck Stop parking maybe accidents will happen but near by stop sign speed is around 10-35 almost similar to inside facilities speed specials if they make it bigger than other states it will become even safer(not sure about theft …safety.

I’m sorry for the people who have to go here to do bureaucratic errands, but I just took my drone and took pictures of this beautiful late art-deco masterpiece. And to think people choose to go to the capitol building instead which is a tacky renaissance farce just like every other capitol building in the country.

Please don't make a toilet bowl out of my workspace. I repair many different systems on bridges. This is disheartening and disgusting. As part of my job, my team is responsible for cleaning it up. It is beyond me that this needs to be said, but throw away trash in an appropriate space. Please and thank you.

Has anyone else noticed that the construction on I-35 in North Austin has only 3 dudes working total in site during the day. And they have 6 construction equipment rented out. That’s 2 each.

1. Why is DoT still allowed to hire there friends small town construction business after so many failed projects for kick backs.

2. Atleast hire 10 guys. Still not enough but it looks better to us sitting in traffic because of it.

3. What in the Joe Dirt is going on with 3 people working during the day everyday on this huge project. The state needs to fire people at Txdot at the top. All of them.

If it was possible to leave negative-star reviews I would. I can only assume the people in charge at TXDOT have the crayons ripped straight from their mouths and are shoved immediately into office. It's the only conclusion I can come to to justify such gross incompetence and sloth-like progress (I-45 between Houston and Dallas has effectively now been "under construction" for 23+ years). If you told me the mafia was still involved in money-laundering through construction I would be convinced that TXDOT was a part of it.

Thanks for consistently making the residents of Texas miserable year, after year, after year, because you can't get the job done properly and on time. Funny how they have roads in Europe still standing after centuries and you can't get one to last more than six months.

You should be embarrassed to call yourselves Texans.

Tx Dot is an embarrassment to Texas and should be ashamed of themselves. There is chaos on all the highways in the big cities especially Austin. The road construction workers take their time and just play around because as long as they’re working they’re making money. This is not the workers fault but the people in office making money off of our inconvenience. So as we pay their salaries they are sitting there milking us right in front of our faces while we sit in traffic. There is no oversight and it’s the worst ran organization probably in the country. Again you guys should be ashamed of yourselves and you’re an embarrassment to Texas.

A Texas department of transportation truck hit our motot home in January 2023. It is now July 2023 and we have not been paid yet. We have called several times and have been told we should get a check in 2 weeks. Haven't gotten one yet.
We were parked in a parking lot when we were hit.
Watch out for their trucks since they don't pay for damages they do.
