Construction Road Project at the 9100 block of Teasley Lane, just before the lights at FM 2499 and FM 2181
The road was torn up ages ago leaving only one lane in both directions and then just sat for several months without any work done at all until recently. Now there are barricades up making it more dangerous with a huge drop off on the south side. This has made it impossible for residents (9100 Teasley) to get out of the main exit unless turning right due to the extreme traffic and speeding on this road, which most times forces the turn right at the second exit as well. For those who need to go left you instead have to take a long detour past Guyer down to Hickory Creek Rd just to circle back to FM 2499. We all know how that traffic is. I was in my truck this time and could see partly over the hill versus in my car where it is not visible, but you still can't see oncoming traffic unless the westbound lane is clear, which is rare. This is a flawed setup on a very delayed road project that could end up in even more serious accidents than have already occurred due to the road blocks. TXDOT needs to fix this ASAP.
