I had a nightmare experience with this company. The real estate agent from Sothebys, Marie was referred to me by Nina, the owner of Park Place Estate Sales. According to Nina, the 2 had worked together for many years and she was "Part of the Sotheby's family." Long story short, Nina took the money from the estate sale and ran and didn't pay me a dime. Family items I asked Marie to set aside before the sale "disappeared". Marie, although diligent regarding the upkeep of the house before the house went on the market, did not pull to get a great price for the house. She asked if I would accept terrible, "low ball" offers in hopes of quickly selling the house, taking her commission and moving on. To top it off, one of them turned the water on in the house resulting in thousands of gallons of water being wasted and a final water bill of over $800!! Marie was the only one that had a key and was authorized to enter the house.
