Trueskil Design and Build lives up to its name. From start to finish, the design for our sidewalk and retaining wall was carefully planned, the materials were helpfully selected and the cost was as it was estimated. Mike knows design and he and his team were always prompt, professional and polite. We were totally surprised with the outcome of the pavers for the sidewalk and retaining wall. And the landscape lighting put the icing on the cake! We are so happy with the new look and very satisfied with everything that Mike and his team did for us. It’s not often you find a company that is professional , follows through and completes a job on time. Not to mention they were reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to refer Trueskil Build and Design to anyone who needs a job well done!

I hired a concrete/ general contractor for stamped concrete work along with a built in outdoor kitchen and a custom fireplace with bench seating. It was obvious that he was incompetent right away so I fired him and hired Trueskil. Mike and his team knocked out all of that work quickly and professionally. They also built a retaining wall in my front yard, laid down artificial tur and helped design and implement the new landscaping. When the work was finished the outside looked amazing! I was very impressed by the service and skill of Trueskil!

Nothing but great things to say about Michael and Trueskil. We were referred to them due to having a significant sized project. Michael was able to ease our minds immediately when it was explained to us that they handle everything from design concept to building out their design. This made the process seamless. There was no hassle dealing with dozens of different companies and designers, Trueskil’s team handled EVERYTHING.

Our journey started with a free consultation (so nice since others charged us just to meet with them) and Michael asked us what WE wanted which was so refreshing. We described our dream outdoor living space which included an elaborate outdoor kitchen (we are avid cooks), fire pit, patio cover, a ton of concrete, custom landscape with irrigation and lighting, and various other smaller items. Within a few weeks our dreams were put into a design rendering that actually had OUR house and property lines scaled to see exactly how our project would turn out. Trueskil was patient during the design process and guided us to make some really great decisions we had not thought of.

Once our design was exactly how we wanted it, we received a bid based on the design that was created. This was so nice because we were all on the same page and had an accurate price to be comfortable with before moving forward. No other company was able to provide this. We were able to make modifications to the project and really maximize our investment into our forever home before signing the building contract.

Last part, the build! Once again Trueskil was exceptional. We were given an accurate start date, schedule, and above all else the communication throughout the whole build was second to none. Our home remained clean and free of hazard for our children during the build which was huge for us.

We can’t wait until we remodel the inside of our house since we 100% will be hiring Michael and Trueskil. This is a long winded review but it is hard to find companies like this these days and these guys deserve the recognition.

The TrueSkil team was excellent from start to finish. The design process was really easy. They did not charge me a huge fee for a design (like other companies did), and that small fee went towards the project. Theirs was the best design of all the companies that I interviewed. It took awhile to get the project started, but the team was always in contact with me about when they would have all material and personnel available for my project. Once they started, boy did it go fast! We had the TrueSkil team do a complete front yard remodel, including hardscape, driveway, landscaping, and lights. They took care of all permits, kept me on the right side of the city, did not jack up prices, and kept to a schedule. I could not ask for more from a contractor. I wish all my other contractors were like this!
