The water authority has awful customer service presumably because they have no competition. They don’t notify customers of leaks and their rate adjustment tool is broken so they make up numbers when you have an issue with the bill. I’m sure the employees are very nice people however they don’t take initiative to help their customers or fix problems the water authority causes.

Wow. Called because we have a leak into the street that looks like a break on the TMWA side ... and they are going to send someone out this very day! That is amazing fast service. Plus the young lady I talked to was friendly and helpful and a pleasure to talk with.
Wish I remembered her name, but it was the service call on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 2:23pm.

Horrible company.
Company is old and outdated. Even if you process a future “scheduled payment” you still have to call customer service to confirm those future dates or your service will be disconnected because it’s not notated (but you scheduled the payment with their online system)

Even after the payment ( scheduled 2 weeks prior ) my service was disconnected the exact same day, and I was told a technician “may be” out to reconnect it before 5pm or you’ll be reconnected the next day (it’s already been 2 days with no water) Worse service ever

Also they tell you that they’ve mailed this bill on this date and when I stated I didn’t receive those, the response is “that’s not our fault” I wish their was another water company to choose from.

Absolutely have a monopoly, are greedy, rude and they know it. The supervisor or manager (boss lady) has a straight up vendetta against me. I got shut off l, paid $250 in October after calling seeing if they could work with me and was told no. Well I got into it with the top boss lady after long holds waiting for her and explained my situation, didn’t care, in-fact she was rude and annoyed from the rip. So fine I paid the full amount, fees and all.

NOW I called the 27th nov at 1:03 pm (pull the call) about a deposit of $200 on my account, they put on after my due amount on the 2nd of dec with an amount of $100 past due so I told them “I can’t pay that $300 water bill after just paying $260 less than two months ago. I can’t make the 2nd but I can do the 6th and don’t want to get shut off.” Then asked if auto pay would remove the deposit request.

I was told “no we can’t take the deposit off even if you set an auto pay. But if you make a payment the 6th for the Bill due on the 2nd you will be okay meter isn’t read til the 9th then you’d be shut off the 9th so 6th payment is okay” (nov 27th 1:03 pull the call)

Please pull the call and turn my water on and wave the reconnect as it’s the 3rd and waters off and you record all calls.

PLUS yall waited for the late afternoon to disconnect so by the time I found out and called its 5:24 PM!

Absolutely horrible manager and management the call reps are not that great either. Joe is cool the only one who seems to be half way sympathetic.

They turned off my water, I have a nine month pregnant wife and I work long hours, 12-16 hr days sometimes. Well I worked a 15hr shift to come home to no water. I had to sleep on the ground because I couldn’t shower. It’s now 9:30am, I borrowed money to pay the $230, yeah that’s it, $230. Anyways they’ve been payed and they have no time frame for when the water will be turned on, just “till the end of the day” is all they would tell me. This is completely outrageous that I can’t even get my water from another company even if I wanted to, there’s no competition so they treat customers like garbage, customer service is 0/10. Service 0/10. Reconciliation 0/10. All around a horrible experience over $230.

Also they were supposedly sending me bills but I 100% don’t have any of them, so they told me that it was my fault I’m not receiving them in the mail

Your telephone system is the worst I have encountered! I had a question about Concourse, a TMWA approved contractor, who was installing a new water meter. The truck shows only a CA license number. Why are NV contractors not used? If this company is licensed in NV that license number should be on the truck. My main complaint is that a notice was not sent to me prior to this company showing up at my door!! Your customer service leaves a lot to be desired! At least the young man that I talked with when he finished was very polite and apologetic. He should not have to apologize for something that is the fault of TMWA.

The rudest worst customer service ever. They have attitudes. They can never get a supervisor online. They talk about you and thinking that they put you on hold yeah I heard everything that that person said about me. This is the worst company such a rip off. I truly hope that we can get another water company so we have options besides being ripped off by corporate corporations, what a disappointment

The online system to make easy online payments is not available. It’s 2024 and you’d think there’d be an easier way to make a payment versus having to call it in and go through the most annoying automated voice service system that is not only extremely slow but has two different voices to take you on your magical journey of paying a bill. They say they revamped the online experience but when you try to create a new account or log into your existing account it’s either a delayed time to do a quick pay and then it’ll say “page not found” then other times it will just time out. There is no reason why this has be this difficult. Please try harder. We all just want a simple way to pay our bill.
