Our 5-year-old home desperately needed some character as well as seating for our family and for entertaining. I felt that if my wife and I attempted to do this on our own, it would take forever, and we would argue and never agree on anything. I found Trish Albano by doing a Google search for interior designers in our area. We sent Trish photographs of decorating ideas that each of us liked and had an initial meeting with her. Trish then came back and presented us with several options. My wife and I were shocked that we actually agreed on 3 of the 4 options we were presented with. Trish took the information she gathered from us and found the similarities in our tastes. The furniture she found for us is beautiful and very comfortable, and combined with the other design elements she incorporated, she brought the character and warmth our house was lacking. Trish exceeded our expectations in every possible way. We are very happy to finally have a beautiful and functional space, and are grateful to Trish for bringing her expertise and guiding us through the process.

I have to admit I was hesitant to spend the money for design help because we are extremely frugal and do home renovation projects ourselves. However, I was completely stumped on how to improve our kitchen with the busy granite pattern on a limited budget. I was in a similar predicament in my laundry, how to keep my existing cabinets, but improve the look.

Trish's was able to capture my style, give various suggestions on wall and cabinet color as well as some decor ideas which completely transformed my spaces. Even though I still have some more cabinets to paint, what I have done so far makes me love the rooms for the first time since we have lived in this house. I am anxious to get all my kitchen cabinets painted and have my full kitchen before and after pictures, but will post what I have done so far.

I am notorious for painting a room, but not really loving the result and end up repainting it. Trish has a very good eye for color. Had I used her over the years, I would have saved so much time and money! Not only does this make me so happy, but my husband is now a huge fan, too! (Not having to repaint is worth a lot.)

She also advised me about options for updating my stairway railing and stain color options when we refinished our hardwood floors. It would be great to have a large renovation budget, but even when you have a tight budget, having Trish's help making good color choices and how to improve your space is invaluable.

Trish offered so much value that I used her again and will continue to call her for more consults in the future. Don't hesitate to give her a call!

I can't say enough about how delighted we are with our new living room and first floor bathroom design and installation. We have a very quirky living room space that has stumped me for years but Trish and her team came up with the perfect design and the furniture to match!
