Traudel and her team are phenomenal. As an attorney, I briefly considered trying to figure out the house buying process by myself, without a realtor. I’m glad I didn’t. Traudel knows the game inside and out, whereas I didn’t even know what I didn’t know. She will guide you through each step of the process, and it goes smoothly because she already has all the forms, knowledge, and experience needed. One aspect of the home buying process I did not anticipate was knowing the points of contact you need to accomplish some of the steps. Traudel has them all on speed dial. Need a top-notch expert inspector? Traudel has her go to guy (who is equally phenomenal). Need a trustworthy lender who knows the local market? Traudel knows them all. Need an inspection for pests or radon? Traudel knows who to call. It gave us so much peace of mind and made the (already daunting) process so much easier to have someone who knew all of the answers without us needing to research and put in extra legwork. What’s more - Traudel will go to bat for you if things go awry. The seller’s agent for our house had no idea what she was doing and caused her sellers to breach the contract. Traudel tried to guide her to the right answer but the agent would not listen, so Traudel immediately spoke to her broker who then called the seller’s agent’s broker (her boss) to work things out. We now have a lovely home with which we are very happy. Additionally, Traudel’s staff, including Ann and Emma, know their roles very well and keep the train running on the tracks smoothly along with Traudel. On top of it all, Traudel is simply a joy to be around, a wonderful person, and a genuine human being. We could not recommend her and her team more heartily.

We had a wonderful experience working with Traudel and her team! Our family had a complicated housing search that spanned a wide range of locations (from Oakton, VA to Potomac, MD), price points and criteria. Traudel was extremely diligent identifying many viable potential properties and was successful in getting us viewings in a very competitive market two years ago. We found her deep knowledge across both Bethesda and Potomac as well as in many parts of Northern Virginia to be extremely helpful. She had great insights into neighborhoods and how they might fit into our family’s needs going forward. Traudel also consistently went the extra mile in providing us with detailed and thorough sales and rental comps. Traudel has been an exceptional resource for us, without whom we would have been lost in our first home-buying experience.
During the search for our dream place, she was very diligent in identifying the important parameters for us. She then ran off with those to search the market diligently and showed us a broad set of options. We were impressed by Traudel‘s knowledge, thoughtfulness, honesty, and resourcefulness throughout our 5-month home buying search.
