I moved to Greenville from the Chicago area in 2019 and bought a house that I frankly did not like very much but with a great location, long distance house hunting and a dearth of inventory there I was. I talked to a number of architects and designers and chose Matt Tindall and could not be more pleased. First and most importantly, he listened to me and really worked based on what I wanted, rather than his own perspective. And he was incredibly creative in his execution. I wanted to ADD walls, bucking most current trends because I like separation of various areas but with a good flow overall. He managed to give me a mudroom and pantry I would not have thought possible, as well as a beautiful butlers pantry. The kitchen he designed is my favorite and most functional (and beautiful) ever. And this was my fourth experience with major renovation. The house was built in the 80’s with everything that entailed including hollow doors, bad molding, etc. His suggestions on things like the profile for the new moldings were spot on. And he saved me from expensive mistakes like replacing stair railings with simple paint suggestions. He and Julie were terrific to work with and likewise, he worked extremely well with my contractor, Heritage Custom Builders in Greenville. I recommend Tindall Architecure Workshop enthusiastically and now have a home that is filled with thoughtful details that I love!
