A skilled, dynamic and go-getter Realtor! I needed to sell my Mom’s house in Speer Heights after her passing, and wanted to accomplish two things: 1) Sell it for a good price and 2) sell it ASAP so I could get out of Harrison ASAP. Having been in sales for much of my career, I interviewed the major realtors in town and ask one question which was this: other than listing this home on the MLS and having an open house what are you going to do that is out of the box to get this home sold for top dollar as soon as possible? Not surprisingly, most of them looked at me like I had three heads and could not come up with any response. Then I called ReMax and Tara responded Immediately. When I asked her the same question, she didn’t have just one response. She had three! She embraces out of the box thinking, and she does not sit around and wait for buyers to stumble across the MLS listing. There are several homes in the area that have been sitting for sale month after month after month with no activity They are overpriced and I did not want that to be my experience. Tara did her homework and came up with what I thought was a perfect price point to begin with. And she was right I had three offers in two days- two of them cash and one for $30,000 over the asking price. Any realtor can get offers if they’re lucky, but real skill begins when the offers are made. Tara negotiated these offers with a sales prowess that was beyond her years. She expertly maneuvered through the offers and the inspections and the closing, and delivered the perfect buyer to me at the perfect price. She is not going to tell you what you want to hear. She is going to tell you what you NEED to hear. And there’s a big difference there if you want to sell your house. I would strongly encourage you to meet Tara and ask her what her plans would be for you and then FOLLOW them! Thanks, Tara. I was able to leave Harrison and the state of Arkansas and go back to the land of the living. I will be eternally grateful for a long time to Tara.
