I hired TAJ construction simply on their reviews and location. Jamil is on it - especially with communication. In a world of texting where no one wants to talk to anyone, Jamil and his team ALWAYS pick up the phone, call back, send easy to read itemized breakdowns of the job and explains everything in detail for absolute clarity (and text when necessary). Their rates are fair with no high pressure sales and the work is absolutely awesome; we were very pleased with the construction, the electrician and the painter taking care of every detail. So if you're looking for the best contractor in Vallejo, or a top contractor that covers all of Solano county, I recommend TAJ as the east bay building contractor.

Wow! What an amazing crew of folks! The building which I lease had a leak problem, and they quickly determined the cause and restored it to better than it looked prior to them ever coming on the scene! Their communication was excellent, their timing was awesome, and they completed the project more quickly than we expected. Super friendly, I would highly recommend them.

I found TAJ and Adi and started with slow projects, until I went all in and now he’s the only GC I trust, from emergencies, home renovations, and big landscaping projects. Working with TAJ and Adi on our ADU remodel (mainly the bathroom) was a far better experience than we had with our two remodels in our main house. Adi and TAJ were pretty much right on budget and on time. Adi gave us tiling recommendations (again a great showroom up in Santa Rosa, super pleasant to work with and great prices and recommendations). We enjoyed working with the two Joses (father and son): they were super hard workers, very respectful and helpful, cleaned up every night before they left, and made this remodel our best experience yet - a real pleasure. If we ever remodel again, we know who to call!
