Alvin created a bespoke office for me in my London home. He and his team put together a series of concepts following inspiration from my requirements and interests. We then fine tuned the design and functionality to ensure that the final version worked for what I wanted it to achieve. The result is a truly unique space that works functionally and wows anybody who sees it. The various hidden compartments further add to the surprise.

Alvin Huang and SDA were a pleasure to work with during a long and intense process for a major artwork commission in Florida. Our company, CODAworx, ran the commission process for the client, and SDA was selected out of 52 applications, first as a semi-finalist, and then a finalist. Finalists were required to submit proposals that displayed creativity and inspiration, while demonstrating the ability to bring the project in on time and within budget. SDA’s proposal did this in spades, and as a result, they were chosen as the top finalist for the project. The client then asked for more visual material, which SDA provided, going beyond the call of duty to satisfy the client. In every step of this process, Alvin Huang was extremely professional and responsive. It was a joy to work with this talented individual.

I had the first opportunity to interact with Alvin Huang in 2009, when I was developing the concept for the "Corian® Super Surfaces" exhibition for the Milan week of design, and hew was at AL_A architect studio in London. It was definitely an interesting interaction, the design concepts and ideas that Alvin brought on the table were brilliant, out-of-the-box and effective interpretations of our material - Corian® advanced surface - and its potential. The exhibition was a source of significant inspiration and was also a great success, both in terms of visitors and media coverage.
