As someone stated before this is a good apartment complex if you have little to no options , They work with you on the rent if you behind as long as you communicate BUT they not going to work on anything else they never came to fix anything the two yrs I was there & the ROACHES 🪳is out of control in those apts some of them & maybe most need to be torn down !!!!! But I’m grateful for them giving me & my child a place to stay at the time 🫶🏾 hope this helps

Application fee was paid along with a holding fee and application was submitted. I received notice that my 1st choice in where I wanted to live was approved so I reached out to advise that I wouldn’t be moving forward with renting from them and that they could rescind my application and refund my $100 holding fee. Why was I told that the “holding fee” would be refunded in 45 BUSINESS DAYS! That “45 day” policy needs to be placed on their website as well as getting the renter to acknowledge that they understand this process. For that reason alone, I wouldn’t rent from them!

I WOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE!!! This is definitely the not so friendly part of town!
My mail box has bullet holes in it and upon arrival there was a bullet hole measly taped over in our window and they told us they were going to fix it! We are about to move out 12 months later and it still hasn’t been fixed due to the window actually being apart of the building structure. (Which is a poor excuse I feel like because now I have mold) On top of that they have continuous dog dumping happen and when you call the front office so they can take care of the dog at hand in their facility they expect you to take care of it!
Management attitude also can be improved!
I moved in with Nicole and Kayla being at the front desk and they were amazing. No issues! With them gone it’s a whole different energy that’s not-welcoming!

I applied recently for an apartment that was priced at $799 dollars. I got approved and received an email saying that my rent was $1030 a month. no one has said anything to me about how big of a difference or asked me anything about the $1,980 deposit and rent please $300 for not insurance and then need insurance . I really have been going through it with finding a place to call my home and I got scammed 3 times this fake application and security deposits are eating me up. I need to move September 1,2024 can something give up please! Not even adding utilities water, gas and electric plus internet bill especially housing supplies after homelessness to get in a 30day time period very overwhelming ! Scary because of how website presence apartment but It’s presentation at the location and property care is lacking. I hope the real apartment is actually look at like or better then the model that was showed and safe god please be safe .

Been here for 7 years .summit is ok.Good for people who had evictions and cannot get approved anywhere else.They ok with grounds keeping ,but in a way we can't blame them when adults make the mess or don't monitor they kids and they make the mess or don't clean up when a mess is made.As far as flexible ,they are.You just have to communicate with someoneand when you short on rent pay .The system pushes the eviction once the balance hit a certain amount.Always try and stay under your monthly rent amount due .just like any apartment it has its cons as well as its pros.it is what u make it🫶

I moved in 2 years ago and the place is great. It's a real quite neighborhood and the outside grounds are well maintained. The lady's at the apartment complex are super nice and always willing to help if you have any problems. Love it here!

Do not I say do not apply for these apartments. I applied recently for an apartment that was priced at $799 dollars. I got approved and received an email saying that my rent was $1030 a month. I called them and asked them why the price was different and an employee told me that they didn’t have any more units of the one I had applied to so they automatically assigned me to a renovated unit. First of all no one asked me anything. Or contacted me to let me know that I had to see it in an email and then I had to contact them myself. After that I asked to see the apartment they told me they can’t. That they can show me a model. So I went I saw it with my family. It looked nice but the area looked unkept. The buildings look extremely old. There’s certain areas that have broken windows and mattresses and a lot of garbage in the corners. As well as a broken down playground that they didn’t even bother to take down. The area looks like a dead town. I came to the building that they assigned me to the steps were cracked the grass was not cut and it’s doesn’t look like a place where a completely renovated unit would be. I asked them about the area since I’m not from Virginia and I was told they couldn’t tell me. Came to find out I went online and searched for news about the summit pointe apartments and nothing but horrible news popped up. At one point they were giving master keys that could open different peoples doors and buildings and people were getting robbed. Another one showed how dirty they were and then one about dead bodies in a car. I asked for my deposit back and they did not want to give it back. When I was the one who was lied to about the apartment I applied to. I repeat do not waste your time go elsewhere.

I recently helped move my sister into this complex and the staff was amazing. They did so much to make this a smooth transition for her. They were so personable and nice, it made me feel more comfortable leaving her to this complex with them. I know that they'll take care of her. The location is nice and quiet and the apartment was clean and perfect when we went to move her in. Very happy with them so far.
