We're very happy with our home and feel it was a "bargain" compared to what other nearby builders were/are offering. The bottom line with Summit is, you get more for your house dollars. Many standard features—granite counters, extra carpet padding, comfort-height counters, tile in bathrooms and laundry, nicer finishings—are upgrades for other builders. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because of many mishaps and delays. Advice: follow-up discussions with sales people and construction foreman with an email. Would we buy from Summit again? Absolutely.

Brady and his team are very polite and desire to please the client. We ran into several issues and Brady did his best to resolve each situation. He was diligent to see the job through until we were satisfied.

We had our basement finished by Nick and Summit Construction this past summer/fall. Unfortunately I cannot recommend him to others due to a few issues. The quality of the work was good, and when we could get ahold of him, Nick was helpful and friendly. However, it was a constant exercise in frustration trying to get firm dates for when certain parts of the basement would be complete, and we went over schedule by a month.

More frustrating, however, was the fact that after the basement was complete the bathroom sink still had difficulty draining. We had Nick or his associates out 3 times, and as of now it is still in a broken state. Since we had to call or text on average 3-4 times over a week or two to get someone out we have finally just decided that it is no longer worth the frustration and to fix it ourselves.

So in summary, if you have a very flexible timeline and don't mind following up repeatedly to try and get things done the quality of work for the most part will be good. But if you are like most people and don't want to do that, I would recommend another builder.
