I'm happy to join the chorus of 5-Star reviews here for Sam. I had a great experience working with him on plans for a downstairs renovation project for my hillside home. He's a perfect communicator, knowledgeable, and turned around everything we needed very quickly. He was incredibly conscientious about listening to what our goals were for the project and took us through what he could endorse and why some of the asks we had wouldn't be prudent from a safety perspective. In the end it was a perfect consultation. We're very happy with our end design and extremely grateful to have found him. I will be referring him to anyone I know who needs a structural engineer.

Sam is an incredible engineer and structural expert. He was extremely generous with his time and very patient, answering all of our questions. He not only explained potential issues, but he also explained the root cause of the issues so that we truly understood all the elements at play.
It’s obvious that he has the interest of the homeowner as his first priority, making sure to offer solutions that were budget conscious and letting us know the difference between work that was vital to do soon and work that could be held off for a while.
I will absolutely be calling him in the future.
