Steve is genuinely the best realtor there is. He was there for us through every step from narrowing down our options and what would be best for us to house hunting to purchasing our home. He continuously was there anytime we had questions and would give us great advice. We ran into a few situations where a great deal would come up and he made sure he was free that same day to be able to do a walk through with us as he always wanted to make sure we would be able to jump on a great deal ASAP. He was very thorough with all of the paperwork and made sure to do a deep dive into the location, property, and history of each place we were interested in and let us know if anything seemed concerning. We absolutely love the home that we purchased, I know that if Steve wasn’t our realtor, the seller would’ve picked another offer. Steve showed us how to structure our offer to make it more appealing to the seller, and it made all the difference. Anyone would be lucky to have Steve work with them.

I don't write many reviews and I've struggled with this one simply because no review will adequately convey what an amazing job Steve Thorpe did for us. They say that pros make it look simple. Well, Steve made it look simple, even though it wasn't.

After looking for months at homes in Midvale, Sandy and other parts of the Salt Lake Valley, we found a home in West Jordan that checked our many boxes. The seller had a discount broker, which means Steve--without complaint--did more work than he would've if the seller's broker had carried his load. Steve knows the market cold for both single family and multi-units. He's a consummate negotiator, having saved us several thousand dollars off the price even though the house was listed as-is. And Steve guided and counseled us through every step of our journey. We've owned before, but we were looking for something different and Steve made that a reality.

One of the best things about Steve is he inspires confidence. Walking into our first meeting together with Steve, my wife was strongly inclined to use another agent she knew. Within 20 minutes she announced we'd be using Steve instead (I was already on board). From that time on, Steve has continued to instill confidence in him, in our decisions, and in our ability to embark upon a new path.

In the beginning, Steve showcased the property many times, probably more than all his other clients. Through it all, Steve kept me updated with reviews from potential buyers and how to better position myself to make the offer more attractive. Then, a misfortune happened where I had to take several months off to remodel the home. During that time, Steve kept by my side, eager to get back on the market. Also, through him I was able to get very reasonable pricing on appliance upgrade. Reflecting back, my selling experience was an uphill battle because the property/HOA had some issues, more than the average seller. But Steve made sure that I had negotiating power, that the property get sold. Steve knows his craft and he is THE MAN!
