I left the home I rented from them in very clean conditions with minimal wear and tear outside of some broken window screens which some of which were already broken when I moved in but of course I was charged to fix all of them,. Not only was I lied to by David and told in the office that after 45 days of not getting my deposit back, that I would be getting most of it back. Only for another few weeks to go by and I get a settlement where I was charged for repairs that existed when I moved in, like a discolored toilet seat I mentioned when touring. They charged me for a 400 carpet cleaning, even though I cleaned the carpets myself and left them better than I got them. They will charge you for light bulbs that are out, even though you will move into a house where not all the lights work. Not only this, they charged me to move "additional items" left behind... when the new tenants showed up on my move out day rushing me to leave because they mixed up their dates and they needed to be out of their house. The maintenance people are honestly the only reason they are even getting one star from me. They were always super helpful and responsive to me.

It was a 1600 dollar deposit. I am a single mom who was going through a hard separation from an abusive ex who they gave the go ahead to abandon the lease without signing any documents and left me to take care of everything. While I was glad he was gone, financially I suffered. I paid that deposit on my own with money I had saved, not getting any of it back really hurt me and I struggled for some time after moving and am finally getting back up on my feet. Dont expect to be treated by a human being by these people.

We have never missed a month worth of payments and continue to get harassed and told we will be evicted. Work orders never completed and when it snows they don’t do anything besides lie and make things up! How do you expect to get rent money if you can not properly manage the property? Horrible horrible experience and being harassed 24/7 with eviction laters. Mind you all we have never missed a months payment it may have been late in the same month but never have we missed and months payment he ahas always received his money. Someone please tell me what we should do we have two kids and he’s trying his hardest to evict us

Absolutely awful of a place. I was going to rent an apartment. I signed the lease then went and looked at the apartment only to find stripped cable wires (I could see the copper wire), the fire extinguisher hasn't been serviced since 2016,

(This part needs it own section) a man was stabbed in January at that apartment and the blood HASNT BEEN CLEANED YETTTTTT!!!! I'm disgusted with the condition of the building!

When I talked to David about it, he said nonchalantly "that can be cleaned and fixed". After I said I would rather cancel my lease he said "I think it's unreasonable to cancel the lease...". Thankfully I read the print and got out of the lease and got my money back. This place sucks, go somewhere else if you're smart.

Rented from them for a few years, was a pretty miserable experience. Like others David showed up late for my tour, sent me incorrect information, and even sent me the wrong contract for the property.

Issues raised would go unresolved, the apartment building was wretched, and the office employees were pointlessly rude. My apartment was cheap-I'd have bit the bullet and spent more to live somewhere more livable instead in retrospect.

We recently used Sterling Properties to sell our home in Glasgow. David was great to work with. He went above and beyond any realtor in helping us with repairs and improvements on the house. He was able to keep us calm and reassured throughout the whole process. We can say without any doubt that we chose the right agency to list and sell our home. He really knows the business and never looked to list our house too low to sell it fast. We were pleased to receive more than 50k than the other area realtors suggested it would sell for. He priced the house correctly and in the end we were extremely pleased with the final selling price. 5 stars is not enough for all that David and Sterling Properties deserves. Thank you again!

If I could I would give a neagtive star they put me in a fraudlent lease than sold the house under me and I didn't even know it was forsale when I signed the lease. After no longer managing property DAVID was still demanding me to pay rent to him even though HE DID NOT MANAGE THE PROPERTY ANYMORE he refused to give my depoist to the new home owner it took A MONTH before he did release it and I had to leave because he lied to me about the owner not wanting to live their WHEN SHE DID WANT TO LIVE THERE. BTW it took almost a month in a half before he gave me everything I requested and that was ONLY after I made it clear I was speaking to an Attornery DAVID STRUGILL is a liar and scammer and EVERYONE DOUBLE CHECK YOU LEASE HE SIGN ME INTO A DECEASE PERSONS LEASE MAKING IT FRAUDLENT AND VOIDED AND MY LAYWER IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON THIS CASE AND COULDNT BELIEVE THAT A CHAIRMAN WOULD DO THIS.

David made an appointment with me last Friday to look at an apartment. I drove 25 minutes today to meet at our appointment time. After David didn’t show for 15 minutes, I called and was informed that the property had been rented. No apology or explanation for why he wouldn’t have reached out to me in the three days between making the appointment and keeping it. Horrific customer service.
