I've been a member of this organization since 2012. I wanted to post some photos of the building since it's renovation earlier this year and since I was attending a committee meeting here this morning, I got a few quick pictures. This association helps it's Realtor Members to serve the community at the highest level of integrity. They sponsor a great deal of education and community events, keeping the members engaged in positive ways, and fostering growth both individually and collectively. Right now, many members are working to help solve issues around the lack of affordable housing, advocating for veterans, implementation of fair housing practices, and many other worthwhile causes, all while upholding a high standard of ethics in the industry, and helping their Realtors to get the most comprehensive vocational education possible. It's guidelines, guardrails, support, training, representation, development, and property rights advocacy all rolled into one amazing source. I'm happy to be a member of SMAR and working to support it's mission here in my community of Southern Maryland.
