Our vision was to remodel our guest bedroom, enlarging it and adding a bathroom. Unfortunately, our city would not approve adding additional square feet to our existing house. We interviewed local building contractors for the bedroom remodel. We chose Soho Construction to build our now smaller bathroom addition. Nir and the Soho team were eager to help us with our project, even though it was much smaller than our original vision. My wife and I have done remodeling projects and a complete house build in another state. We like to be ‘active’ in the design and materials selection. We enjoy the work! The Soho Construction team has worked with owners who prefer to be hands-off or owners like us who want to be part of the team. Soho team members were very considerate during construction. They worked hard at minimizing noise and keeping the project area clean. Our agreed goal with Soho was to add a bathroom that matched the quality of our house. We achieved that goal! Now that our project is complete, we can easily recommend and refer our family and friends to Soho Construction!

SoHo did an excellent job helping us create our dream bathroom! We were not planning to do a remodel, but due to an unfortunate and unexpected flooding incident, we were in need of immediate reconstruction. I reached out to a friend whose bathroom remodel I loved and she referred me to SoHo.

SoHo manages the labor side of the house, while clients are responsible for ordering and purchasing the materials needed. This gives you autonomy in suppliers and we were able to mix and match materials to meet our design dreams within our budget. They utilize a great project management software that made this process very organized. My recommendation would be to select materials early given the lengthy lead times that can exist.

SoHo was very helpful with us in regards to the portion of our work that was covered by our insurance claim and worked to separate out all invoices for insurance related expenses so that we could keep neat records for our claim.

Once the project started, we were fortunate enough to work with Eyal. He managed our project and the various contractors working in our home. We appreciated his thorough oversight of their work which made us both feel safe with so many people coming in and out of home and know that the job would be done well. He moved with urgency- managing our timeline proactively to get things done and making adjustments to spare us from any gaps in repair. He was highly communicative with us and even when he wasn't at our house, he was easy to reach via text or call. On top of it all, he's just a great human being- very kind, friendly and caring! Everyone that came into our home was actually very friendly and positive and it made for as pleasant of an experience as remodeling could be.

The final product looks stunning and we're in love with our new bathroom!

The Soho team did a fantastic job with our kitchen remodel along with new windows install. They were completely on schedule and on budget. Everyone who worked on site and back of house were kind, diligent and solutions finders - we never had problems! Such an impressive company and lightyears ahead of other construction companies for dedication to customer service. Highly recommend.

We hired Soho to replace the flat areas of our roof before we started a reno.
Soho hired sub contractors who hired sub contractors- we were told they were soho employees, not true. Nir/Brandon had no clue of who was doing the job or how badly it was done . You can see the unprofessional job that was done when the wet drywall was removed from the leaking ceiling in the dining room. They left old roof that should have been replaced among other issues. The other photos you see water dripping. Every area of our roof they touched leaked.
Nir said he stands behind his work- though it is suppose to be guaranteed for 2 years- these issues were within weeks of roof replacement. We did not hire Soho for the Reno.

Danny and the Simply Great Remodeling team were by far the best contractors/home remodelers I’ve worked with in my many years of homeownership. We recently completed a large flooring project with them where our ~3000sqft home had all of the existing flooring removed, subfloor leveled, and new luxury vinyl plank installed. From the initial meeting to the very last day of the project, Danny and the entire crew were extremely friendly, understanding, sympathetic, and were excellent communicators. Danny was always within easy reach via a text or phone call. The crew always showed up on time or early, took great care of the home, were enjoyable to work with (and just generally cool, nice people), and cleaned up after themselves (both inside and out). It is also important to mention that every single employee I worked with from Simply Great Remodeling took great pride in their work, and offered multiple solutions to various challenges and unforeseen issues that we encountered (as always happens with any construction project). On many occasions, the crew took extra time to propose multiple solutions to these challenges to ensure we were 100% happy. They also all enjoyed working for Danny, and were happy to be doing their job, which I have found to be extremely rare in the construction business. Now look, these guys definitely aren’t the cheapest contractors out there, but you REALLY do get what you pay for — trust me, I’ve been there…you don’t want to look at your floor or your kitchen or your bathroom EVERY day and wish you had spent just a little more to not have some sloppy mess. So please, consider Danny and Simply Great Remodeling as your go-to guys for any serious remodel. You won’t be disappointed!
