Sigura Construction helped me with a project involving demolishing and rebuilding my driveway. This concrete work was complex since it involved Public Works. Other contractors could not fulfill all the Public Works requirements. However, Sigura Construction was able to meet all compliance standards and proceed. The finished project far exceeded my expectations and now I have a beautiful new driveway. All Public Works standards were met with approvals and without issues. I am doing this review mainly to honor my husband who passed away before completion of the remodel of his old ranch house. My husband worked closely with Ilan and his great crew, Chris and Jose. It was a complete remodel which at time was quite challenging. Ilan's diligence in getting approvals of the city of Sunnyvale were very daunting at times, but eventually he got it done. There were glitches from time to time but after several meetings and phone calls, the work had been corrected and completed and the house was completed. The end result was a gorgeous new and elegant house. The open floor concept with its high ceiling and sky lights is a great plus for the once old and dark ranch house from the 70's. Thank you Ilan and your crew for a fantastic job.

I called Sigura Construction for yet another successful project. It's the 2nd time I'm using this company to remodel my house and once again they did not disappoint!
Their Production Manager Doug Garis was amazing and on top of everything. Any concern or question I ever had he addressed immediately. I am very picky when it comes to my house, and I have tried working with other contractors in the past, that make promises they don't deliver. With Sigura Construction you can be sure you get what you want and even more. My flooring looks wonderful and the color they helped me choose for the entire house is perfect, even though at first I was skeptical but they once again appear to be professional and knowledgeable.
I would deferentially work with them again on my next project.

I am extremely happy with Sigura Construction's work on my home. There was a fire damage and none of the other construction companies wanted to work with me because they did not want to deal with my insurance company. They wanted $ handed over to them on a silver platter without having to work with my insurance. I spoke with 5-6 different construction companies, some local and some not, and after one or two conversations, they ghosted me. Nobody returned my calls or emails. I believe I called each place 6 or 7 times before I realized they did not want my business. It was frustrating and I was losing hope. My home remained damaged for a year and was a sore sight for the neighbors.

Then I came across Sigura Construction. Found them on the internet. I called and spoke with the Office Manager. Then Ilan visited me and I gave him all the details. He took measurements and pictures and drafted up a quote. He and his staff were patient and unwavering and understood how to get the resources needed to fix my home. My insurance company was initially going to offer a measly amount to fix. They only cared about fixing or "bandaging" the exterior to cover the burn and maybe repair the wall. However, the damages and effects on the house were more devastating and Ilan was able to point that out to my insurance. He was so experienced at his work that he specifically described the damages and and what exactly was needed to bring the house back to its previous state which is an obligation of the insurance. He also knew the law too.

Sigura Construction stuck with me every step of the way and did not abandon me like all the other construction companies out there. Truthfully, I think those companies probably were not smart enough to deal with my insurance and backed off. Anyways, I am so glad I found Sigura Construction and I will definitely use them again for anything else I need.

I have done two major remodeling projects with Sigura Construction over the past three years. The first was an update of the kitchen and bathroom in my 1940s-era concrete-block house on the SF Peninsula. Sigura's estimate was detailed and fairly priced, taking into consideration the time that would be required for permit approvals and inspections (no easy feat during COVID). During construction, Ilan and his team communicated quickly and clearly whenever something came up that required a change order (you never know what you'll find behind 80-year-old wallboard...) They brought the project in on time and on budget, and we love the results.

The second project was even more impressive. Last year my family was living in Europe on a temporary work assignment when our tenants brought to our attention to a mildew problem in the bedrooms, specifically on the inside of the exterior walls. This is not what you want to hear when you are 6000 miles away! Luckily we had Ilan. He proposed an ambitious project to insulate the exterior walls from the inside using closed-cell foam insulation, and at the same time to replace all the flooring he had not yet refreshed in the bath-and-kitchen job. We told him we had new tenants arriving in a few months and everything needed to be done before they arrived. Ilan was excited for the challenge. His team handled all the details, starting with moving all our furniture into a storage container in the driveway. Then, with impressive professionalism, they executed the project precisely on schedule—and that included all the typical unforeseen challenges, like when they discovered a layer of ancient linoleum under the existing parquet floor, or when we had to relocate an old gas line to bring it up to code. My family is truly grateful for the care and diligence of Ilan, Chris, and the entire Sigura team on this project. We arrived home a few weeks ago to what felt like a brand-new house, thanks to Sigura Construction. I highly recommend working with them.
