We purchased our current home in Brigham City that was originally built by Sierra Homes. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the design, attention to detail, and overall craftsmanship. The quality was so impressive that we knew Sierra Homes was the only builder we wanted to work with for our forever home.

I have been very happy with Sierra homes and Jon Sorenson, from start to finish it has gone seamless. when something did not go as planned I would text Jon that night more often then not the next day he was getting the issue resolved. I would recommend sierra homes to anyone that was building a home for a good honest, fast, quality built home you can't go wrong! they have been in the house building game awhile and it shows by the way they organize and execute. highly recommended on my part!

This is what you get when Sierra homes is a developer run hoa because they won't turn it over to the residents who actually own the homes. Weeds over run in yards, dead plants, no notification of any work being done so residents who own homes have no idea what's going on at any time. Sierra homes will say they won't turn over hoa bc they are still building but what does condo retail stores have to do with residential townhouses (haven't started building anything in over a year). They would have different rules anyway. Plus Sierra homes uses side parking of the townhouses to store their trailers and construction stuff. Their employees barel down our road at 100 mph and don't care these are people's homes. Don't let this company be your developer run hoa!!! I am still waiting on a print out of what my hoa fees are going to with receipts of what they truly are spending our money on.

Side note, the "management company" they hire is just a blame game saying the developers are watching the landscape. They do nothing, both blame each other. Our sprinklers still haven't been turned on and everything is dying. They both use homeowners as cash cows.

We were referred to Sierra Homes by our close friends about a year ago. Never imagining we would be able to build a home, we met with the owner. Within a couple of months we broke ground. Any questions/doubts/changes we had were met head on with Sierra with 100% follow through on what we were promised or what we wanted. They're a straight forward company allowing you to take control of what you want your home to be. Easy to work with. Easy to talk to without the run around. Four months from ground breaking we moved into our beautiful new home. I would highly recommend Sierra Homes to anyone who wants to look into building.

Update - almost 5 years after we built that house we jumped again! We just moved into our dream home (our 2nd Sierra built home) and we are in love! We recieved great advice from Jeff on how to make a few modifications to the Emerson 1797 to make it more functionable for our family. The whole crew at Sierra is outstanding. They thoroughly explain the process and are meticulous as humanly possible with your home. Thank you to Jay, Courtney, Jeff, Jon and the crew for making this possible! ❤❤🏠

We had and are still having multiple issues building with Sierra. We signed on the home to start building in February 2022 they didn’t start building until June and didn’t finish until December almost January 2023. The floor in our master bedroom creeks. There was multiple items we chose during the selections that were not imputed right and we had to catch and change. We still have a cracked window. There are multiple cracks in the drywall. There is repair they need to do around a light because they messed up on the light and had to replace it. They still haven’t fixed that. We have lived here 4 months. There are multiple paint runs on the trim. When there were things I wanted fixed during the build I had to push really hard to get them fixed and was often disrespected or asked to pay to have it fixed. The super Jonathan was so disrespectful. He spread rumors about me and was very inappropriate. Both he and the person responsible for the underground power spread rumors about me to the other subs. An inappropriate photo was taken of me by an employee. I told Jonathan, he did nothing about it. Instead he spread rumors. Something to the aspect “I am a high roller girl.” “if I didn’t dress the way I did it wouldn’t have happened.” The reason I know for a fact he was doing this is be because the person who does the underground power came joking about it directly to my husband while he was doing the backsplash on our home thinking my husband was just a sub. He said that Jonathan was talking to him about it. We did talk directly to the company who’s employee took the photo and that company dealt with it appropriately. All in all Jonathan was terrible for me to work with and he was very inappropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable. I feel there is a lot of sexism in the company. The issue with the super was brought up to the owner Jay and his response after he talked to the super Jonathan was that Jonathan was telling all the subs what happed “to protect me”. Not only does this company not have great quality work they are also very sexist and disrespectful.

Thank You Sierra Home Builders! We had our home built from April to October while living several hours away. Any possible worry or frustration, under these circumstances, was a non issue because of excellent communication and availability of the Sierra team. We appreciated access and attention to detail from Jeff and Aaron in the office, among others. Tanner, our building supervisor, was our consistent go to man and a wizard at handling things that inevitably come up during a home build. We consider him a friend. My advice to any potential buyer is to be patient, treat your builder with respect, and recognize that over 40 sub contractors are involved with building your dream. As it goes in life, you generally get what you give. They are a great builder, don’t forget to be a great customer too. We are so happy with our home. Thank You Sierra Homes!

i can go on and on about my experience building with sierra homes, but in this case i think pictures will speak more than words. If you are ok with the quality in this picture, Sierra Homes is a builder for you. If you are not ok with it, find a custom builder.
