Showcase Homebuilders also rent several properties around the Christiansburg area. I had the pleasure of renting from them for 8 years. If I ever had a problem they always called me back promptly. Rather than dropping of my rent in the overnight box I would drop it off during regular business hours just so I could stop by for a visit. I would always enjoy my conversations with Barbara Jean Woody. She was always extremely nice and concerned about your well being as a renter and as a person. She really made me feel valued and like a member of their family. If you’re looking to buy or rent I would recommend you calling them first! Thank you Showcase for the top notch experience I enjoyed over the last 8 years. You will be missed.

We have rented with Showcase now for two years and have had nothing but an amazing experience. The ladies at the front office are always welcoming and quick with a smile. They recognize me on sight and always ask about how things are. The homes are well maintained (particularly for a rental) and the rent is reasonably priced. We haven't had a single issue in our time here and found management to be nothing but accommodating and welcoming.
There are some other reviews out there stating poor management practices- but that simply hasn't been our experience. The neighborhood is well kept and quiet, with kids coming to the door to help shovel when it snows and selling girl scout cookies (which I buy an embarrassing amount of). The neighborhood is SAFE, well lit, and very active; people are constantly walking their dogs, sitting outside on their patios and being neighborly when you drive by.
My only complaint would be the hill we live on is hard to make best use of the yard- but we make it work!

Brenda Woody was so easy to work with and walked me through every step of the purchasing process. She worked with my daughter and me to be sure the townhouse was in move-in condition and that it was exactly how we wanted it--the paint, the floor, everything. When we moved in, the house was in such good condition it was as if we were the first people to live there. Everyday I walk in the door and fall in love with the house all over again. If I were to ever sell and buy another house, I would want to work with Brenda and Showcase Homebuilders again.

I highly recommend Showcase! Amanda went above and beyond to help us find a rental that met our needs and expectations. She kept us updated every step of the way during the process. We’ve only had to contact them a few times about minor things and they are quick to respond. We couldn’t be happier in our rental until we find our forever home.

Absolutely horrible! I would give zero stars if I could. I rented a townhome from them and was told the previous tenants were moving out on the 30th and they needed 10 days to get the place ready but would try to get me in before since my current lease was up before the 10 days ended. After waiting the full 10 days, I got the keys and arrived at a completely trashed townhome. Immediately upon walking in there was paint splatters all over the floor, the carpet was very noticeably pieced in where some stains were instead of just replacing the full piece, hair all over the bathroom sinks, oven disgusting, food in the dishwasher, hair in the drain in the shower, huge chips in the baseboards, dirty tile and stains on the carpet. Not only was the place disgusting but we found that there were multiple things broken. When we called to get them to fix it, they were rude and sent someone out to "look at it" when the person arrived they said they were there to vacuum...uhh what?! So we called back again and told them how unacceptable it was and the situation needed to be rectified so they ended up voiding the lease and returning our money (the best thing they did for us). Absolutely unprofessional and overall horrible experience. Beware!

I would give Showcase Home Builders more than five stars if I could. I've told several friends about their services and how great they are. I'd recommend them to anybody.
