Very unreliable. You never know where you'll end up. They'll take you to a stop that you wernt trying to go to then the driver will tell you in an observed manner to get off because they want to go on break. So you end up waiting around at that stop for about 2 hrs and the best part is you'll pay again to get to where you were trying to go in t he first place. They could at least not charge twice make a schedule with were the bus is going instead of only the time frames.

This place is not nice towards people with disabilities.
The lady I talked to on the phone was very rude and she gave me attitude
and she made me feel like I was bothering her.
and also they need to allow more time to schedule transportation and to let people know because they can't just go from 2 to 3 days notice with out letting people know! it would also help if they're open on the weekends!
and according to the paperwork short transit buses are supposed to be clean
If that's true why is there trush on the floor

The driver totally disregarded the stop request and left a disabled senior THREE AND A HALF MILES away at red fox 3/18/23 on 13.she then had to wait another 45 minutes for return bus, in the cold and dark. Looking into legal action, comes under several crimes. Drivers disregard the people who they are supposed to help. Also several Title VI violations.
People should try to find other form of transportation..with shore you will walk more than ride. Cannot depend on them.
Would be less than one star if possible Very poorly run business. Ask 5 people a question regarding the bus and you will get 5 different answers. Also service is very different on the more affluent side of town. There is literally 2 to 4 hours to wait on around Salisbury but the bus goes to the Berlin Walmart twice within ONEHour.

This place is very rude on the phone with you. They need to be nicer and more understanding especially people with disabilities! And be more flexible with scheduling. I can see a day or 2 in advance but not 3 days that’s ridiculous and not fare! At any other place they give you more time!

Absolutely terrible. Not even mediocre, that would be too kind, it's just that bad. This system is very incomptently run and plagued with inconviniences. There are large gaps in the schedules that have you waiting for hours, and even so, the bus can arrive late, sometimes for a good 30 minutes. Or they don't arrive at all. And there isn't even a way to track them. Not to mention that some of the routes end before evening.

The buses themselves are just a plain joke, a lot of them are outdated, and are really inconsistent with the models they use. Some of them are so small, that they can't even hold more than 10 people.

And let's not get started on the fares, where you can pay an outrageous sum of $3, and yes, that's just for one trip. And there's not even any transfer discounts (there used to be one but they got rid of it a few years ago), you still have to pay up. I'd complain more about the fact that there's no way to pay electronically, but that just pales in comparison to the outrageous prices.

Overall, save yourself a headache and don't use Shore Transit, it just isn't worth it. If you want to get around town and you aren't able to drive, get a bike, call a taxi/Uber, or ask a friend.

Ever been at a business where no one seems to know how to do there job. You will with these guys. Called a few times this month and even the dispatchers seem like they can't read the bus schedule. Thank God they got it online.
