When a parent passes, there are so many details and decisions to be made. It can be totally overwhelming. Shirley was a blessing when it came time to sell the home. She made recommendations for services that I may need and handled details like yard work and cleaners, so I wouldn’t have to. She was patient with my frequent questions and responsive to my texts and phone calls. She was compassionate and assuring; acknowledging that this was a difficult time for me. Shirley was truly exceptional. I met her at a open house in the neighborhood. I was impressed with her level of knowledge and the amount of data she had about the market. It was a no-brainer for me to work with her since I was set on buying in neighborhood and I’m so thankful I did.

Shirley was always available for home tours. Her responsiveness was incredible. If she didn’t pick up, she always calls back no longer than 5 minutes later. Purchased a home, she told me that going in and highlighted the concerns she had and the research she wanted to do to make sure progress was being made and I wouldn’t have to wait for a long time to move in.

She did an incredible amount of information gathering about the process, status of city and county inspections, and reviewing all the non-standard documents you get when you are buying a home. When there were disagreements about certain verbiage in documents, Shirley was patient and worked through some tough situations without breaking a sweat. Shirley was very responsive and coordinated many vendors to get our house ready to sell. She had great ideas on what we should improve with the house. There was a foundation issue with your house and Shirley worked with the foundation company and the buyers to make sure everyone understood what exactly needed to be repaired. This expedited the selling process and the new owners were in the house 5 weeks after it went on the market. Shirley was professional and courteous through every aspect of the selling process and I would definitely recommend her to others who are buying or selling a house.

My family and I are very happy in our experience with Shirley selling my mother's house. As my sister (Lori) said below, we had a tight deadline, and it was met! Shirley seemed confident the house could be showed and sold in a week, and that did happen, in 6 days I believe! Escrow closed two weeks later.!
