Shelly helped my family find a wonderful home in the Bay Area (Mountain View) in spring 2011. We were relocating from Maryland, and very concerned about finding a house that fit our budget, was in move-in condition, and was in a neighborhood with good schools. Shelly was amazing. She carefully listened to our needs and recommended a large number of neighborhoods (and specific houses) that fit our wishes and constraints. Because we lived across the country, we only had a few opportunities to come search for our new home -- Shelly made it easy. She kept us in the loop and made sure she was available to us whenever we needed her, especially during our house-hunting visits. When we found our perfect house, the bid was due that same day at 5 pm. Shelly was terrific about leading us through the process and making sure we submitted an appropriate bid. (If you know the area, you know that houses in move-in condition go really fast; they are often only on the market for a week and have 10+ bidders.) She knows the market incredibly well -- we were positioned just right to win the house without going overboard (or underwater!). After we bought the house, we wanted to make a few improvements before our cross-country move. Shelly helped coordinate the contractors before we moved, which was such a life saver. Shelly is a truly outstanding person with great professional judgement and deep knowledge of the Bay Area market. I'm so glad we had Shelly to help us; we had the best possible outcome to what initially seemed like a very intimidating house purchase.

Shelly is a Consummate Professional!! She is thorough in every detail. She assisted me in both buying and selling my home. I called her on Sunday to represent me; we won the bidding on Wednesday (I was not pre-approved), and I moved into my new home fourteen days later. No, I did not pay cash. When we sold, we listed it on a Thursday and selected the winning bid on Sunday. Call it a hot market; we're talking about a 940 sqft house. Shelly's ability to coordinate the business transactions in conjunction with her client, i.e., advertising, inspecting, appraising, funding, etc., is flawless. Her meticulous management style guides you through every aspect, right down to exactly how the house should be staged. Shelly's network is extensive, and she's extraordinarily responsive. Today, Shelly is my friend, and I've been to her house numerous times, but when I called her that Sunday afternoon, I certainly did not know her or that I was about to land a friend for life.

Shelly is amazing. We have done one sale and two purchases with her help and she has been an outstanding representative. She really knows the market well. On the purchases, she knew the right price, helping us get the winning bids in a very highly competitive market without overpaying. On the sale, she worked super hard to get the house in the best selling condition, and it felt great being able to rely on her expertise.
She really took the burden off of our shoulders and set us up for success. Her network of connections is huge, which is a big advantage in buying or selling with her.
On our most recent purchase we decided to rent the house. She really went above and beyond to help us by advertising and showing the house to a number of prospective tenants until we found a good match. This made it so much easier for us since we didn't have a lot of extra time to show the house.
As great as our experiences with Shelly have been, they have been further enhanced through her partnership with her husband Mike, who is also an excellent agent who brings in expertise as a contractor. Together they are the perfect team.

Shelly was our realtor for selling two homes and buying our current home. She is very knowledgeable, professional, efficient, responsive and pleasant to work with. She had excellent recommendations for preparing our homes for sale, including improvements and staging. She represented our interests and fought for us when necessary. Shelly is a stellar realtor! When buying my first house, I intended to interview a few agents to find one who would best match my needs and I looked no further than Shelly.

She's incredibly professional, knowledgeable and I trust her implicitly to guide me safely through the mountain of paperwork and legalese involved with buying and selling a house. Even though I know she's busy with lots of clients, I always feel like I am her only client.

Shelly is also responsive, reliable and honest. I've utilized her services three times now and each time I feel that she has my best interest at heart. Never have I felt that her professional advice has been self-serving; with her, it's all about the client. She also serves a wide range of property prices and mine have been at the lower end of her range, but she's never treated my homes as though they or I were small beans.

When it comes to other house-related questions, she's a wealth of information! I've asked her countless times for referrals for loan officers, insurance companies, remodel advice and referrals, neighborhood information and resources (what to do about a barking dog?) and she is always happy to help and her referrals have all been wonderful.
