SFT completed a soft story retrofit for my 8 residential/1 commercial unit building built before 1900 to meet current seismic and CCSF code requirements. It was a complicated project, but SFT had the expertise to do it. Project is now completed with all necessary independent, city, and engineering inspections, test reports, Final Inspection, and Certificate of Completion from SFDBI. The foreman, Adolfo Soto and crew were very skilled and methodically phased all the work necessary for completion. They know what they are doing, communication was good, and quality of work was very good. I recommend them and would consider them for future projects.

SFT Completed a Soft Story Retrofit project in 2018 for a five unit building built in 1976. The original engineering plans were permitted by the city, but weren't correct due do the engineer placing sheer walls under stairs and where electric and gas service comes in. I called SFT and Shayan came over. He inspected, did the basement crawl, did some calculations on his PC, and gave me a number which included new engineering drawings. I also got two other estimates and SFT was about 20% less expensive than both. Very professional Foreman and Crew. Shawn was our foreman for this project and was always available. His crew were very clean and kept the work-space organized. Shawn took over and worked with the City to get all permits, finals, and Certificate of Completion from the SFDBI. Work was estimated 8-12 weeks but was completed 90% in about 6 weeks. They know their stuff and I would recommend them for future projects.
