I feel like I've been working with this firm for an eternity. The initial measurements they made of my house were completely off so it took a few months to resolve (where I measured my own house and corrected their measurements). For example, a wall was labelled as 13.5 feet instead of the actual 8 feet. This became problematic because of contractor bids and permit revisions. To be honest, I cannot say that I would be comfortable working with them again.

The Santos & Urrutia team has been amazing to work with - my architect loves them, Rodrigo is available at ridiculous hours to respond to questions or problems, Mike Chan has been our direct engineer and found ways with my architect to save money on the foundation and framing, which in SF is quite a feat. And when Albert Urrutia came out to do the initial site inspection, he had the most friendly and calm manner, it was very reassuring that I was in competent hands.
