Worst home buying experience I’ve ever had. The sales manager made the entire process extremely stressful, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. Putting undue pressure while under a contingency contract. On top of the stress connected to selling and trying everything possible to meet the terms of contingency. She not only kept informing us there were other buyers ready to take the home we planned so much for even though we were still in contract. She talked about early cancellation often, and how soon we could sell. Making it abundantly clear our interest no longer matters as clients. She issued a cancellation days before our deadline. Shamefully, we got into contract days before our contract with Anderson would expire. Only days from getting our forever home. The cherry on top of is they still haven’t returned my 13,000. After a week of cancellation. Extremely disappointed and sad I had this experience with Anderson homes. I will never refer another person or veteran to Anderson homes.

Just went through some models homes at Legacy Homes, 1534 Santa Ranch Drive (Serenity). This was my second time going through these model homes in the past six months. Each time Rhonda Stapleton, the listing agent, was very condescending with her answers to our questions. As much as I loved the homes, I would never reward her with a purchase. She needs to attend some Dale Carnegie classes soon. She is losing sales because of her attitude.

The owners of Anderson Homes live locally and know the communities in which they are building. They have a deep commitment to the community, which is a refreshing and different from some of the other home builders in the area. They really care about their customers and about building the best home for each individual family.

Michael Anderson and his wife Ashleigh and their team came to Hollister with a great plan to enhance San Benito County in many ways. First off they have great floor plans and options for future homeowners to choose from. I have a few friends that already live in Santana Ranch and they love it. The Anderson team works hard educating themselves about what the community and region has to offer. From tourism to local shopping and more, they do their best to educate their new homeowners so they feel "right at home" once they move in. They created the annual program "Giving Back Starts at Home" for their new homeowners in Hollister last year and now its success is being expanded to their new development in Los Banos, too. The Anderson's also sponsor and/or attend local events in order to stay informed on the many local non-profits that serve the various needs locally. They really care about the community and their homeowners. I applaud their efforts to do right in the communities they serve.
