I needed a soils report and foundation plan for a new home build in Yucca Valley. I reached out to several engineering firms and Emad gave me the best quote with the fastest turnaround time. He also had the best communication, which I really appreciated. He was always available throughout the process whenever I had questions and he was able to give some great advice since I don't have a ton of development experience. He really knows his stuff and he really cares about his work and his clients. I'll be going straight to him for my next project. Highly recommended.

Can't thank Emad and his Team enough for coming thru on my project. Some engineers wouldn't touch it due to it's complexity (and silliness!), but that - in no way - scared Emad. I called Emad because I was under contract for a house and wanted an inspection done. Emad did a great job! He was on time and thorough. Since I was unable to attend, Emad FaceTimed me as he was going through the property. His advice was invaluable. And he discovered problems with the retaining wall for the driveway that was not even on my radar. Emad has been incredibly responsive to my and my realtor's flurry of calls and emails. He's the best!

I had an unfortunate experience dealing with an unfriendly city plan checker who was insisting on costly geotechnical surveys. In response, I reached out to several engineering firms for quotes, and SME was the first to respond with a reasonable rate. They were also able to conduct the expedited testing without any additional charge. Emad, who was in charge of the testing, was very punctual, friendly, and honest throughout the process. When the city planning requested another piece of paper that they already had, Emad quickly provided it so that I could pull the permit on the same day. All in all, Emad made the unpleasant task of working with people who hold the power of stamp in their hands a little bit more bearable. Thank you, Emad and SME!

I recently used SME engineering to prepare a soil report for my new pool in Beaumont. Emad prepared as estimate in the same day of my request, and showed up on time to inspect the location of the pool. He followed up with the soil sampling within a week and drilling was clean with no visible damage to my lawn. He delivered the report shortly after to secure the pool and retaining wall permit. The engineer was professional and transparent about the entire process. I will defiantly recommend him to anyone in need for soil report.

I contacted SME Engineering to schedule a structural inspection and Emad responded to my overnight Yelp request first thing in the morning. I was on a tight deadline and he was able to go to the cabin I was in escrow on the next day to conduct a visual inspection. Emad was very thorough, clear and honest on both his verbal explanation of the condition of the house and deck foundations as well as his written summary which included pictures of the areas of concern. Emad uncovered some serious -and some less severe- issues needing correction that the home inspector had totally downplayed. He also provided recommendations to prevent/minimize further damage. Emad kindly took my additional call a few days later to further discuss the recommended repairs in layman's terms, patiently, carefully, without being an alarmist and never rushed. I'd use his services again whether for an inspection or to draw plans. I highly recommend SME.

Emad provided excellent detailed structural analysis for a home we were looking to buy. He was quick to identify issues with the foundation of the home and provided full summary of what it would cost to fix a job like that. Technically very skilled in his area and is able to think quickly on his feet. Finally for his objective advice we walked away from the deal which would have cost us a lot of money to fix. Emad is very dedicated to his profession, and on fact provided"free"advice even before we signed the agreement with him which speaks well of his commitment.

Just fantastic. Emad is exceptionally professional, courteous, communicative and kind. We were in escrow on a vacant land plot in the mountains and had loads of questions (and naivete) on the viability of the land. Emad responded quickly, did a ton of research prior to the site visit (and after), and took plenty of time analyzing the property and answering our questions to help us make an informed decision. Looking forward to working with him further on the geotechnical reports and engineering!
