Good expressway but it is not just as smooth as an expressway should be ( mumbai pune expressway) the levelling is improper and at a speed of 120km per hour.

It gets bumpy frequently.

But can get 120+ speed on full highway.
Travelled from Igatpuri to Sambhajinagar and tolls are calculated at 1.73per km for pvt vehicles.

Road is excellent but there is no shade of trees to take few moments rest by the commuters. I suggest Truck/Bus bay lanes should be constructed at some distance with basic amenities (Toilet, Borewell for drinking water)

One of the best drive of life,,, you have to follow certain rules on this highways

Speed limit- 80 to 100
Regular break every two hours
You should drive at least one more member apart from you
Your vehicle tyre should be in good condition
Fuel should be enough when you enter on this highway

Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway is 701 km long and a six-lane expressway. The expressway is officially known as Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg. It runs past 390 villages and crosses ten districts of Maharashtra. It will significantly reduce the travel time between Mumbai and Nagpur. This Greenfield project was also announced in 2015, and land acquisition began in 2017. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation for the Mumbai Nagpur Expressway in December 2018.

Nice highway.you can drive here limitless speed because its bridth is too large. But please drive in control speed because there is no turning or curved so you can get sleep while driving your vehicle, every 3 day one vehicle getting crash to the road barrier.because of its speed limit and sleep.

This is THE BEST HIGHWAY India’s ever got
It is so smooth that even 120km/h does feel like 40-50 km/h there are no potholes it is made in such an incredible way that it has petrol pump exits at regular intervals
Rest room exits at regular intervals
Hats off to Nitin Gadkari for such a brilliant dream work

Overall very good experience on the Expressway. You can maintain a constant speed of 120 km/hr. Can reach Shirdi from Nagpur in less than 5.5 hour.

Only complaint at this stage is absence of food joints and washrooms. I am sure this will get developed soon.
