Sam The Concrete Man came out, and finished a backyard project we’ve been wanting to get done for a while. They gave us an estimate on site, and when we moved forward with the project it was scheduled within 1 week. And finished completely two weeks from when they came out for the initial estimate. Very happy with the service provided.

Sam and Ethan came out to do an estimate on several projects we’re planning to do. They were very knowledgeable and asked excellent questions to clarify what I was asking for to make sure they had a clear understanding of the project. Hard. Pass. Never cleaned up, horrible workmanship, tools were not correct for job, cut corners, didn’t use any felt to help with expansion, damaged our gate, did not prep correctly, ran out of concrete twice, used bagged Home Depot mix, took over a month to do a 2-3 day job, broke their contract in multiple ways. They also would come at the oddest hours and were rarely if ever on time. One night they were trying to jack hammer after 10pm. Lost our summer in our yard. We will be lucky if our curb lasts a year. They cut it with a 4” grinder and used a sledge hammer for the middle portion. Cracked the curb and gutter. The edges of our driveway are already coming off in chunks. I will be scrubbing concrete splatter of my house, windows, garage and custom flower boxes for a solid week.

Did they offer to come “fix” the work? Yes. They even redid the back patio. Even their redone work was still barely adequate and they made us feel like we were being overly picky. I even had another company come out and they told us to get all of our money back because the job was so bad. This same company who was offered some of their jobs and turned them done. Proving the owners lied when they responded to “no” when asked if they piece out their work. We aren’t interested in having them come back because of the way we were treated, dishonesty, the corners they cut to try and save money, the lack of skill/knowledge of concrete, the physical labor we had to do ourselves, and the inability to get the job done without ruining our yard.

Sam did an excellent job on my new drive way. The quality of work and professionalism is top notch
