I really wish I could leave a zero star review. Rw built our house in 2018-2019. The project went over time by more than six months. I don’t fault them for that as much as I fault the horrible contractors they use. But I guess that’s also their fault. There have been so many issues with this from build to ‘finished’ product. I don’t even know where to start. How about with the hole.. they dug a hole for the house before we even had a go ahead to start. Red flag one. Once construction started things moved at a snails pace. Contractor would come and go at seemingly random intervals. They’d be on the job for a week and then disappear for two. The worst offender for this was definitely the framers. Which was a rag tag crew of literal children. 16-18 year old kids that looked like they’d never held a nail gun before. Sometimes I’d find one of them putting, no joke, 16 nails into the end of one 2x6. Complaints about their poor workmanship and behavior only seemed to make their conduct and attendance at our job far worse. Eventually they disappeared altogether and we had to have a second crew come finish. Every contractor was like this moving forward. Like our job was a side gig for 90% of the contractors. When it came time to do the custom tile, a 16 year old kid was in laying tile with mud that was either thin as water or thick as play dough. After moving in and doing a first cleaning on the tiles revealed that all the tile spacers were left in place and then grouted over. Tiles are crooked, unleveled and just all around look terrible. There is a 2” gap between our wood floor and the tile that they tried to cover with a transition trim piece, that broke almost immediately. (They still have yet to ever come and fix that) the Laminate floors did this fun thing where they’d sit in the sun through a window for a half hour and then we had massive bubbles of floating floors, their solution was to just glue down the ‘floating’ floor. That’ll be fun down the road when we want to change those. Another thing with the floors, since framing took so long, our house sat open through A LOT of weather. The OSB flooring was rendered near useless in a lot of areas and they squeaked all over the place. Another great solution by RW was to just go ahead and put 30,000 ring shank nails down to ‘secure’ the flooring. (The floors still squeak by the way) let’s move onto the roof, since living here I have found more holes left open in the roof than months I’ve loved here. One area started leaking immediately after moving in, when a roofer came to fix it they found a 10” hole that was cut into the sheeting of the roof and then left there and the tar paper was just rolled over the hole and then the shingles put down. There were several other areas at the peaks of the roof where the roof was left open
Completely. When I have messaged RW about fixing these holes, I never hear back so I have to pay someone else to come fix them. That’s fun! I just found another one today, amazing! There are still plumbing fixture trims that were ‘back ordered’ they’ve never come back to install. (It’s been over five years and subsequent follow ups have been ignored completely, big surprise) overall the quality of build has been terrible. They ruined one of our exterior doors and replaced it with a new one that they painted with a roller. They said they’d fix it, I’m sure you can guess, it still looks terrible. The back doors of our house are terrible as well, they just randomly pop open all on their own, so sometimes we come home from a trip and a door has been open for who knows how long, so fun! The list goes on and on, I would for sure avoid using these guys they cut corners and use terrible subs. They don’t care about you or your house and you’ll never hear from them again after they hand you the keys, that is unless you leave a bad review on their Facebook and then they call right away. Horrid experience, avoid them at all costs.

RW recently built a new home in Corinne, Utah for us. We were treated so great and there was not one thing that was a problem and could not be dealt with. We went from two level and 1 acre to one level and .25 acre. Could not be more happy. After we moved to Corinne, RW went into our old house and updated the house for us to sell. It turned out so beautiful. (Almost wanted to go back. Almost!) The house is now on the market to sell and we are so grateful to RW for making all of this such a smooth transition. I would highly recommend RW to anyone.

Hired and paid for what was presented as top quality renovation, received poorly executed flooring installation with paint job that didn't meet all my specified/listed parameters. Business owner was likeable, handled demo well, and fixed lighting.
Overall unhappy because I questioned the owner about flooring and he said nothing could be done. Sharing photos, if anyone reading this knows about flooring installation would what is pictured really be considered acceptable?

From the design of our home to the building experience, we found RW Custom Homes to be an amazing experience. Everyone we interacted with along the way were professional, talented, and wonderful to work with. We had our most recent home built by RW Custom Homes. We have built 3 other homes with different contractors and had several issues and learned a lot of lessons. RW was so incredible to work with. The weekly meetings with the best protect manager that kept us informed and on task, the awesome designer that helped us make the hard decisions, just everything made the home building process the best it could be. Thanks RW for such a great experience and a home we really love!

RW Customs started building our custom home during the start of COVID in 2020. Even during those trying times, they were the most amazing team of people to ease our worries and help us through every step of the process. Chris Anderson, Nick Weaver, and Misty Harris were very attentive to what we were looking to build and adding their special touch to the design just enhanced our home into something even better than what we could have ever dreamed. If we knew home building could be this enjoyable of an experience, we would have contacted RW Customs sooner.
We have to give a big shout-out to Nick Weaver for being on point the entire build as he is an exceptional project manager. There was not a single day that he was not involved and leading us through the house building process. If there is one thing that really stood out to us, we would have to say the communication. If there was ever a concern or issue both Chris and Nick were all over it. They kept us in the loop as to what was going on during the entire build.
Misty Harris, what an asset to the RW Team! Misty has a keen eye for design and was remarkable when it came to helping us pick out the materials for our build. We never really thought there was so much stuff you needed to pick out, but Misty was right there helping and guiding us in the direction of our ideal home. Misty was very attentive to our needs and ideas. We never felt that we were just a number; we felt a part of the RW family. RW, you hired a very talented designer!
Lastly, Chris Anderson, what can I say other than you have made this the best experience! Your years of experience are truly demonstrated in your knowledge and professionalism. You and your team have been exceptional! If we ever had to do this again, we would not even hesitate on our choice of builder.
