After months of contacting over 15 contractors and receiving outlandish estimates—many of whom didn’t even show up for appointments or return calls—we knew Jeff at Ruff and Ready Landscape Construction was different from the start. His communication was hands-on, he kept every appointment, provided fair estimates, and answered all of my many questions with patience and professionalism.

Having to pay out of pocket to fix a poorly built retaining wall that was pulling down our vinyl fence was stressful, but Jeff and his team put us at ease. Their combination of knowledge and professionalism exceeded our expectations. Jeff brought in his A-team, led by Moises, who completed the job in a timely, clean manner, and the quality of their work has added value to our home. We're excited to see how the sloped landscaping flourishes, thanks to Jeff's guidance on vegetation choices.

Reached out to Jeff and his wonderful crew to check out our backyard and help us. It was in really rough shape. The way our house is situated part of our yard never sees sun so the grass was a mess, the area also had no retaining wall and so every rain we would have a mud mess. We did not know what we wanted and Jeff came in with his suggestions and WOW. He and his crew came in and gave the image life. Our yard is amazing now. Drainage is also updated. Upper yard was just messy and now it is beautiful. We now have the backyard we dreamed of. They are so professional and hard-working every single one of them thank you Jeff and team.

Ruff & Ready did a great job on our front yard landscaping. I called them after trying another landscaper who wasn't moving fast enough and wasted much of the time the HOA gave us to complete the project. With only a month before the HOA deadline, Ruff & Ready got the job done with weeks to spare. Jeff Ruff takes pride in his company and the professionalism shown by him and his crew is evident. They pay attention to their client's needs and are also good at problem solving. Their price was more reasonable than others. From the laying of our sod to the plantings, stepping stones, sprinklers, and decorative rocks, they handled it all.
