We signed a contract with RP Homes in April 2024, expecting our home to be delivered by December 2024 or January 2025. With a newborn baby and plans to relocate from South Florida to the Chattanooga area, my family and I invested significant time and money into this process, even flying up for a design session. However, after several months, there was no progress on our home.

Communication became increasingly evasive, and we eventually discovered that RP Homes had sold our community to another national builder, apparently prioritizing profit over the commitments they made to us and other families. This was extremely disappointing, especially since we had built our plans around their promises.

Additionally, the contract we signed contains a loophole that heavily favors the builder. While RP Homes did return our earnest money, they were under no obligation to fulfill their end of the agreement. As buyers, we were left with no options to hold them accountable for building the home we were promised.

If you're looking for a homebuilder that values integrity and honors its word, I would urge caution when considering RP Homes. Our experience left us feeling disregarded, and despite getting our deposit back, we now face the major disruption of rethinking our family’s future plans due to their broken promises.

My husband and I built a house with RP Homes in 2022 and have had a fantastic experience along the way! From our design meeting to closing, they communicated well with us through the entire building process which was much appreciated as we were relocating to the area. No build process is perfect, but when issues came up they were quick to respond and handled everything with professionalism, working with us to make things right. Brittney has gone above and beyond to make the whole process enjoyable, we appreciate her dedication and amazing customer service!

We had a phenomenal experience with RP homes, specifically Ashley and Katie. They were very informative, kept us in the loop, and the house turned out great! Any issues were addressed and taken care of. First build went without a hitch!

We loved working with RP to build our new home! Everyone was so friendly and responsive every step of the way! There were a few hiccups along the way but that is to be expected with any new construction and everything we brought to their attention was fixed to our liking. The inspection process was very smooth as well, a few minor things to correct but overall the inspector was impressed with the build! Would definitely work with RP again in the future!

I recently closed on a townhome at The Bexley in Chattanooga, and was blown away by how smooth and easy the closing process was. The entire RP team, Brittney and Jill in particular, displayed professionalism and consistent communication throughout the process. On top of the customer service, the product turned out beautifully and is the most desirable new community in downtown Chattanooga, in my opinion.

I would recommend any new home buyer to check out RP's current inventory as they conduct their search.
