Thanks to excellent service of Robert Half agency, I could have found my current position as cybersecurity analyst for further professional step. I'd like to deeply share my sincere appreciation to Fabrizio Fumagalli.

Last year I met Fabri in cybersecurity meetup by chance chatted my career concern. I feel passionate and have a dream to be professionalize in cybersecurity field but had no idea where to start since my former experience was mostly about network communicate industry.

As you may know, it is hard to enter cybersecurity field without work background. Fabri contacted me after conversation and told me that he gladly would help me to find/start next career path in cybersecurity.

It's been a month past after joining new corporate, I could realize that Fabri matched me in a better condition of job requirement than my expectations. I strongly believe it is due to his solid knowledge of cybersecurity background. And he was able to communicate my future value through hiring process.

Vlad, the recruiter that worked with me was extremely helpful. He took the time to explain to me many important information I needed to know about relocating to Japan in general and the way they work in Robert Half.

He talked to me about my skills, experience and career goals and was able to quickly identify a suitable position for me.
Once we identified the position Vlad helped me prepare for the interview process and made sure I was ready for every step of the way.

During the recruitment process Vlad had to take a few days off, he introduced me to his colleague Lin and made sure nothing was stuck during his short leave.

With Vlad and Lin help I was able to get a great job offer within a month!

Unfortunately, once i got to Japan things have not been as good as I expected.

The match with the new workplace was not good and after 7 months in that position I decided not to continue there.

In addition, the support I got from Robert Half was not good enough both once I got to Japan and needed help settling in and after I left my position and was looking for other opportunities.

It seems that they are more focused on getting people to come here but not very helpful in providing support after that.

Robert Half's biggest strong suit was actually finding jobs that I felt suited me based off my prior work experience. Other Japanese recruitment company's did not seem to try and meet my needs or experiences, rather they just tried to file me into the first company that had an opening.

From my experiences in both America and Japan, recruitment company's are pretty overbearing and try to push you into a job as quickly as possible. Robert Half does feel a bit pushy, but not as much as the other company I was using.

Throughout the process, I was in contact with three Robert Half employees. I mostly communicated with just one of those employees, but I was occasionally left confused by multiple calls/messages I had amongst the three. I would end up having to answer the same question multiple times, so it seems like that communication between members on the Robert Half side could be a bit better.
