R&O worked on remodeling our kitchen many years ago and the experience was positive. Today, I called the office to inquire about a residential project and the person answering the phone showed very little desire to talk to me but also she was short and rude. Remember that this is the person that answers the phone and creates a welcoming tone for your company.

You should educate the people driving your trucks with your company name written on them about the rules of the road. Double white line crossing on the highway, going 60+ in 50 mph zones, being in the HOV lane when they are clearly the only ones in the vehicle. Lots of construction going on and I see your trucks everywhere.

Makes your company look bad.

Dude was going way under the speed limit and embarrassingly attempting to brake check every other second. Made them look like an impaired idiot. Not a review on the business, but maybe check your employees and have them check their surroundings before being blindly ignorant.

Don't really know anything about the company, but one of the drivers cut me off on the road recently because he wanted to get somewhere a little bit faster than everybody else i don't really know. But I had to slam on my brakes. Fortunately no one was hurt. They should regulate that or talk to their little pickup truck drivers.

All in all they have been great to work for. Would highly recommend them for all of your construction needs. The boots on the ground and the people working behind the scene to keep everything flowing are fantastic!

Do NOT trust your lives with this company. PERIOD.
My house is four years old. I discovered and reported problems in the first year. Besides underbidding the project, hiring people from other towns who did not understand the dynamics of our weather and not putting locals to work their poor quality puts people's lives at risk.
I had a ceiling fan blade come off in my bedroom in the first few months, the manufacturer sent me a whole new assembly stating that they had never had this happen-it was poor installation. Dented a wall and the floor-luckily we were not there.
Today, a roof leak that I reported in the first few months and repeatedly reported, caused my smoke alarm to short out and blow up. The fire department had never seen this happen. I called on this issue many times over the years and they said they had done all that they would do. Our HOA paid for the last fix to the roof. Now I have to hire an electrician and a roofer.
the fire suppression system was never checked so I came home in the 2nd year to a flooded house as it was put in wrong.
The pipes to the outdoor hose were installed upside down and caused a flood in one room. I had to pay to fix it as it was discovered after the "warranty was up".
Almost every single sub they hired was shoddy. Plumbers, landscapers, roofers, painters.
So much wasn't finished.
They "borrowed" parts from a commercial job they did. Our kitchen facets were a left over from a local hospital bathroom job. etc. etc.
If you can't do the job, don't underbid it. Period.
Don't let these people build your project or your house.

After losing$115,000 on a project, getting blamed for their mistakes, having their superintendent solicit my employees to a competitor and losing my employees while being blamed for delays when I showed up on time and they had no foundations or trusses ready. I will not bid or work on another project with R and O . Orluff if you're going to turn your company over to Slade you could at least pay attention!
