We are so grateful we found David! We had been looking for a house in Huntsville/Eden for months when we decided to build. We quickly realized buying land was much more complicated with water shares, septic tests and easements. After realizing the agent we were working with wasn’t capable of handling all these complications we found David! David was very knowledgeable and thorough with every property we looked at until we found the right one. Having an agent with less experience could have ended in disaster several times! This was my first experience buying a home and I am so happy we chose to use David as our realtor. I actually can't imagine not using a realtor now because of how much work and effort he gave on our part. The process would would taken so much longer and i would have been so lost without him. David Sedlak represented the people that were buying our home. A week before we were scheduled to close, they asked for an extension for financing purposes. To help us make our decision my husband and I were allowed to talk to their loan officer. We found out that even though we had a pre approval letter from our buyer they had never actually been approved for the loan and they hadn’t made any progress on the loan for a month and they had been keeping that from us. All our realtor and my husband and I had been hearing was that everything was progressing on schedule, well it wasn’t progressing at all. I don’t know how long David Sedlak knew about the problem but he and the buyers misled my husband and I and our realtor and created an extremely dishonest situation. They ended up dropped out of the contract because they were not able to receive approval. My husband and I had already moved out of our house in preparation for the sale. Their dishonesty created extreme financial hardship.
