After 1 year of living in the brand new house all of our vinyl flooring is buckling up. Was told by a professional flooring guy the cabinets and island were installed over the vinyl floors which is causing the buckling. This will cost us thousands of dollars to replace. Warrenty won’t cover. Not what you would expect when purchasing a brand new home!
Our large back window leaks every time it rains. our kitchen cabinets are not working properly. The carpet is bubbling up and loose. It’s been a nightmare. Do NOT buy with RCM!!

As I have been living in this house for about 5 years now and it seems like I find things quite often. The way my rain gutter was piped in was terrible and now my concrete in front of my garage is sinking. I have contacted HOA about it and they said to contact builder. I have tried to call and can’t get a hold of anyone. I am not happy cause now it is going to cost me 5k plus to get this replaced. I should not have to pay out of my pocket for something I did not do. Pay attention to your build from this company. I have also heard that some of the houses do not have insulation on any of the exterior walls. I have been wanting to check mine but I am afraid I might find something I don’t want to find. They only put in ac units big enough just for the living space and the basement is not considered living space cause it is not done. So now that my basement is done my ac runs all day in Summer. Please check everything before signing any paper work from this builder. Also these pictures are pretty old so it is worse now than it was then because every time it rains it gets worse.

I built with rcm homes and let me just say they cut corners and they don't care about you or your house all they want is the money!
Concrete was done really bad and now they are fixing some sidewalks that look like a 10 year old did it! Now they didn't even send a notice that this was going to be done so now all my cars all full of concrete dust and they didn't even care to clean up the dust. They are really bad and I don't recommend them!
I texted one of the guys but no reply!
They change names every few years but just be careful they work with njg real estate and builder is rcm! They're honestly so bad!

I built a home with RCM for what seemed like an excellent deal. During the build everything was fine no major complaints this was our second home that we've built so we've been through the process. However it's after the closing that it gets terrible. You notice little corners that were cut lazy craftsmanship and any bit of professionalism that was shown during the build disappears. I had a list of warranty items and touch ups that are supposed to be covered on the 1 year touch up coverage I was given the run around for months and honestly years over all with literally nother ever getting fixed. I wanted this builder to be that awesome little guy builder that puts the big names to shame but it's not spend that little bit extra and go with a quality builder that stands behind their work.

As a first time home builder, I loved my experience with RCM. Everything was installed correctly and two years later I still love my home. During the interior paining, there was a typo in the paint code number and so the wrong color was painted on all of my walls, and they fixed it without fuss and with no further cost to us! The quality of everything is great still even after several years, and I appreciate their hard work!

Would never recommend this builder. Our concrete was the worst job I have ever seen. We have cracks everywhere, our steps need to be replaced and we have not even been in our home for 8 months. Concrete sluffing off. Sprinklers have never worked right or even at all. Landscapers left water on in mid November, cracked pipes. Granite countertops have cracks and little chips out of all of the countertops. Touch up paint was never finished. When told of issues all they say is ya that’s not in the warranty. Getting someone to respond does not happen. Everything was very cheaply done. Find another builder!

I am surprised by the poor reviews. Our experience with RCM have been great. I was worried because of all of the reviews when we first chose them to build our first home with. However, my wife's father is a Master Plumber, my father has built homes my whole life, and I work in the Warranty Industry. We have all watched our home come together from the ground up without any issue. They were transparent from the get go, explaining that building a home is unpredictable and although they hope that everything will come together quickly, the valley is booming and sometimes supplies and sub contractors can be tough.

Our home will close within the time we expected. 8 months. And while this may seem like a long time for some; we knew going into the process that building a home takes time and lots of hands. We have been updated each week since our foundation was poured. Alexa has been super attentive and answers any question we send her way. We also are happy we went with their preferred Lender. Mark Welch has held our hand throughout what could have been a really scary process.

I would never recommend building with RCM homes. The builder is a complete ass who freaked out on my dad because he stopped him and told him stuff needed to be fixed. But nothing as ever been fixed. There have been multiple things that needs to be fixed on my house and I can not get a hold of anybody in the warranty department, which there is only one person who does work there. You only communicate through email, there is no number to call to complain. I have been waiting months for stuff to be fixed. Pay a little more money and go with another builder. You’ll thank me in the end.
