Whoever is reading, below are a few of our warranty tickets submitted aka our lesson learnt (DONT BUY FROM RICHMOND). I hope you find it entertaining!

1. Our BRAND NEW AC broke 3 times during the first 3 months since we moved in.... Also, during the final walk through we were told by our warranty guy that AC broken during hot summer is an emergency and we can contact RICHMOND 24*7. The 2nd time our AC broken was at a burning JULY Friday night and I contacted the same warranty guy and sarcastically he told me AC broken on a hot JULY Friday night is not an emergency. And he never told us he was not our warranty guy anymore until we reached out about a real issue. So we had to contact the new warranty lady that he told us. Of course nobody replied until the following Monday so we were left stranded during the dead hot summer weekend with no AC in our BRAND NEW HOME WITH BRAND NEW BROEKN AC. I don't trust the installation and the repair. The guy came out 3 times to fix our AC and every time he promised us it was fixed. Now it's winter we did not even have enough time to test if the AC is truly fixed!

2. Our driveway is missing a concrete piece when we moved in March 2024 and the warranty kept promising it will be fixed and I started frequently following up with the warranty lady 2 months ago. Every time she promised someone will come and fix the Friday of the week or the following Monday and now it has been another 2 months and we still didn't see anyone even came and took a look. And what pisses me off is our neighbor at Shelby Beach Drive already had an entire piece of the concrete on their driveway replaced and still no one takes care of ours!

3. Our sprinkler box is missing a valve that lets go the residue water to avoid the pipes being frozen damaged in winter. I submitted my ticket in September and followed up with the warranty lady regularly. I was told that she understood the urgency and I as well had been promised someone will come out and fix this before it got too cold. Now it's been almost 3 months almost Christmas and we still have not seen anyone show up yet.

4. Our landscaping plants were never placed properly near the drip line and most of them are dead during the summer even though we watered them and kept the drip line running every day. It's been months since the summer and we did not hear responses at all!

I bought a house from them paid three-quarter of 1 million and nothing is working and it’s only been a week and I feel that the house has fallen apart so my advice to you stay away from this homebuilder and don’t buy a house from them because also there warranty company is the worst they never replied their calls and they don’t really care and they have the worst attitude
