RPV is a magical place to live & call home. Moving here has been such a blessing for my family and I over the years. A truly excellent neighborhood to: raise a family, foster meaningful relationships with your neighbors (or be completely secluded ;), live in a gated community w/ equestrian trails to ride/hike, enjoy 2+ AC spreads to have horses /or just your family pets to run tall & stretch their legs, plus two private lakes to chill year round. The stars are so big and bright out here in Alpine you can name 'em, the nights and off hours are so quiet and peaceful here you can hear 'em. The little town is as close to Mayberry as we're going to get - perched out here above the city - but you come to look forward to only a few stop lights, the ritual of community events & your favorite haunts welcoming you on a first name basis. It's not for everyone .. big lots and big square footprints can add on %'s to what you're used to paying for utility bills and maintenance costs. But if you enjoy being responsible for your spread, got an eye to improve the big canvas you were given and/or maintain what you already got - and you're up for the challenge of putting your fingerprint on your own slice of paradise in the foothills - then it might just be perfect for you.

Not so good My friend lives There and his home was broken into at 9pm on Friday Labor day weekend Security didn't get off till 11pm but never bothered with the camera showing the theft and never check on it.

This HOA is the most egregious group of uneducated morons I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Buyer beware, this group is special. Check the lawsuits.
